Today was a pretty exciting day for the fandom! We had an incredible start to the day with the release of the new Breaking Dawn Part 2 trailer followed by all the screen caps and dissection of the images. But it’s also Edward Cullen’s 111th birthday, and we would feel so badly if we let the day pass without at least wishing him a happy birthday! After all, it isn’t every fictional character that starts a pop cultural phenomenon. We found this great video mash up of Edward moments from UKTwilight that we thought we would share with everyone. But we also want to hear from you. What is your all time favorite Edward moment from either the books or the films?

My fav Edward moment is in eclipse when he proposes to Bella n also the blood scene in twilight the book
So hard…BD Part1 Movie….it’s a tie between “I cant live without you” and “Please, baby come back to me….”. Gut wrenching!
Book….Twilight when he saves Bella from James by cleaning her blood without killing her.
So hard.

The trailer was a nice birthday present for me today! I admit, I was amused to no end when I first found out that Edward’s birthday was the same as mine. Of course my kids are embarrassed that their mom is a TwiHard, but embarrassing my kids is just another service I provide.
I’m having trouble coming up with a ‘favorite’ Edward moment. Haters call him a stalker, but I never saw him that way. His devotion to Bella is profound.
Movie, NM, “I never acted out of guilt.”
Book, EC, “Will you tell me what you’re thinking? Before I lose my mind?”

I like that movie scene too becuse right before that he says “you don’t know long I’ve waited for you”

Edward at her bedside in the hospital at the end of Twilight

And if this is an Edward thing, why on *earth* was there a clip of Bella kissing Jacob?
I also would have removed the movie soundtracks and put a more appropriate song in, like Tremble for my Beloved, or Bella’s Lullabye
Of course, if I knew how to do this type of editing I would have.

My favorite Edward movie scenes include: The New Moon scene where Edward squeezed the phone after learning that Bella was “dead.” And the BDP1 scene when he was saying “please don’t die, baby.” Broke my heart both times, in all the right ways.
My favorite book scenes include: In Twilight, where Bella and Edward would lay in bed. Midnight Sun transcript where he ran off to Alaska, haha.

In Twilight the first night that Edward stays the night with Bella (whenBella knows about ) I love thatnmorning because Edward is so care free and sweet. I dont see how any movie moment could compare to the books. I also like in Midnight Sun when Edward is defending Bella at there family meeting

I have many favourite scenes, but one of them is when Edward talks to Jakob on the mountain in NM while Bella is almost sleeping. They might still have a long way to linking each other, but they are finally learning to respect each other a little bit.
My fav is when he steps into the sun and kristen jumps him. it reminded me of the finale scene in bel ami.

Am pretty mad right now. I wasnt here wednesday. I was stuck at this house with no internet. And i missed all this! Really mad. But my favorite is when he comes back on new moon, and he tells bella how much he loves her….. Yeah, and am still mad. Next year….
just recently re-read the scene in the first Twilight book where Edward first tells Bella how old he is. Classic!
