Cullen Family Live Blog: Peter, Jackson, Nikki, Liz, Breaking Dawn Part 1

What they have learned from characters:

Nikki: It’s okay if world doesn’t like you. You are not a reflection of who you play.
Liz: Patience
Peter and Jackson: Youth is great!

Peter was so happy to be able to be back in the sun again. He felt like the uni-bomber at his daughter’s soccer games.

Jackson is happy to give up contacts and wigs.

All: Next year it will be sadder. It hasn’t hit them yet it’s over.

Apparently Jackson and Ashley do a cool swing dance at the wedding. Jackson collaborated with a choreographer. It brought him back to his musical days. Jackson was nervous throwing Ashley in a dance move

Jackson: You need fan to spell fanatic. We love them

Nikki: Fame doesn’t mean success is what she’s learned. She’s learned to do good work. And to put life experience before career.

For Jackson it’s been working with so many diverse directors. He just formed his own production company. Feels like its been a master class to him

Nikki’s favorite scene with Taylor was cut: The Fido scene not in there. In the scene Taylor hits her over the head with the dog bowl. Taylor was fabulous, so committed. He’s great with his shirt on too.

Nikki worked with a rubber baby and a later a mechanical baby, she liked it when they worked with the real babies. She also loved being able to love something in the film and not be angry.

Peter and Liz as mom and dad feel Rob and Kristen have handled the fame well. They haven’t changed who they are. They have more people around them, but they are who they are still.

What was it like having Kristen as a vampire:

Liz–she got the painful contacts in red. They are the worst

Peter—Bill puts the word gentle in gentleman. It was the emotional journey and everything not just camera moves.

Peter has a Carlisle ring. Nikki hasn’t taken anything because she knows she’d get caught. Nikki says Kristen stole her sneakers from the first movie and gave them to her.

Liz–fan response is more important than critical reception.

Peter–the harshest critics are the fans. If the fans like it then we have done our job.
