Mark Ballas and Chelsea Kane opened tonights episode of Dancing with the Stars by dancing the waltz to Sia’s “My Love” from the Eclipse soundtrack. We’ve seen Twilight Saga music used on many performance shows. What has been your favorite dance or performance featuring music from one of the Twilight Saga’s soundtracks?

  3. Was so surprised to hear it-got teary eyed-they danced beautifully to it

  4. I loved that they used that song, it made the dance so much more amazing and heartfelt. It was the perfect song for that Waltz.

  5. That was great !

  6. Great, the one night I don’t watch Dancing with the Stars,I miss seeing something cool. Oh,well at least it’s on Youtube so that I can get to see it. Glad that they used Sia’s haunting and beautiful song from Eclipse. It really captured the Bella/Edward proposal love scene perfectly.

“My Love” is my favorite song on the Eclipse soundtrack. It’s such a beautiful song. However, I think Sia sang it much better than whoever is doing it here. Why couldn’t they just use the original recording?

    • For whatever reason the original song is never used, it’s always a cover.

I think it may have something to do with the copyright laws and royalties paid to the original singer, but I’m not 100% on that.

  8. Wanted to let you all know, if you don’t, that Sia was on The Voice last night. She was a mentor for Christina’s group. Pretty cool!

  9. This was beautiful. The song gives any visual moment such great intensity.

Made me remember another twilight song performance from So you think you can dance awhile back. (Eyes on fire from Twilight) This is still my fave.
