We couldn’t tweet Peter’s Q & A from the official Twilight Tour because we had to leave to catch our plane back to the East Coast. However, Team Twilight did a great job of summarizing what Peter said:

Peter said if he was younger he would have loved to play Edward.
Peter says the family scenes are like one big party. And loves those scenes in every twilight movie.
It was Peter’s idea to drop Edward during the Eclipse fight training. He thought Carlisle should one up Edward cause he’s older.”

I thought it was definitely amusing when Carlisle got the better of Edward during fight training, but it wasn’t very realistic, because however “distracted” or “sure of himself” Edward was, he’d still be able to read Carlisle’s mind and react…surprised SM didn’t say something or that David Slade let it slide, however fun it was!
Actually, now that I think about it, SM may have mentioned that in her Eclipse DVD commentary. Guess it wasn’t worth putting her foot down. Glad to hear Breaking Dawn has the best script…even with variations “the fans will like.” Can only assume that since SM is a producer on this one, they all have her stamp of approval. Can’t wait!
