Kristen wins for favorite movie actress. As part of her acceptance speech she thanks everyone and said she was just shooting Breaking Dawn as a vampire a couple of hours ago.
Taylor and Rob both were by her side in the audience and smiling as she did her acceptance.
The trio then had a moment of being terrified as Queen Latifa (the host) came over and played rabid fan and asked embarrassing questions.
Eclipse wins for favorite movie and favorite drama movie. Taylor had the largest part of the acceptance speech and thanked the fans and assured us that the best is yet to come on Breaking Dawn. Kristen also thanked the fans and producer Wyck Godfrey. Rob thanked the fans.
Other twilight related award wins that were awarded off stage were:

Favorie Horror Movie Nightmare on Elm Street co-starring Kellan Lutz

* Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner up against each other as Best Movie Actor with tough competition from Johnny Depp and others! (And Johnny Depp won)
* Kristen Stewart for Best Movie Actress with tough competition from Angelina Jolie(WINNER)
* Eclipse is nominated as Favorite Movie Drama which it should easily win given the other choices (WINNER)
* Valentine’s Day that had Taylor Lautner in the cast is up for Favorite Movie Comedy( Lost to The Grown Ups)
* Eclipse is nominated for Favorite on Screen Team, strongest competition from Iron Man 2
* Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are up for Favorite Movie Star Under 25. Harry Potter’s Emma Watson and High School Musical’s Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are nominated as well. Rob will likely pull this one out,(Zac Efron won)

I’m glad that Twilght Movies, the bands and the stars are up for People’s choice awards, but seriously, watching the show is worse than having bamboo shoved under your nails. The drivel and filler makes me want to mute the whole thing until the actual award is presented. Who writes this nonsense, they apparently think we are all brain dead.

I agree, his hair is shocking…was only looking at photos of the Vanity Fair first photo shoot for Twilight, he looked totally gorgeous. I just don’t get how sometimes he looks so great and others so bad…he seriously needs a stylist.
I know. It almost looks like his hair might be thinning? I hope not. Though he still looks like a Greek god, I like his hair much better when it is longer, tousled and messy. Hopefully his smoking is not starting to age him. Oh well. We all have our vices. Agree that Kristin is absolutely stunning. Her legs are like miles long.

Love it! Rob’s hair…I love the length, glad they kept it short. But is it just me or is the color very dark? Compared to the other three movies, it doesn’t look “Edward-y”

Im going to keep an open mind about what she said.. maybe it was part of a vision Alice had or a dream or something like that. Or maybe its what everyone thinks and the movie doesn’t end with her giving birth like we all thought it would.
Have you red the books. Read Breaking Dawn. These books have much more details in them of course, but you’ll love it.

Maybe it’s just me but did anyone else notice how close Kristen and Taylor were? I mean, he helped her to the stage, fixed her dress strap during Best Film acceptance, and when she was done she hugged up on him not Rob? Found it kinda odd. Maybe…..
It’s always been like that, if you haven’t noticed. I think Rob and Kris don’t want to draw too much attention to their relationship so they try to minimize their communication with each other while doing promo. So that’s probably why Taylor usually helps Kristen out. I really, REALLY don’t think Taylor and Kristen are anything more than friends.
This is exactly what I was thinking. They’re doing it to detract from the real couple, although I don’t know why they go to so much trouble. It’s kind of a known thing now.
And I really hope they look into getting a new host next year. I like her, but not doing this…
Yes! I like the Queen, but man was she annoying! I think it might have been a little less awkward if she called them by their real names at least once.
I’m not surprised Johnny Depp won (I normally would have voted for him) but I can’t believe in the under 25 award stupid Zac Efron won. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!
If Johnny Depp shows up, he’ll get the award, no matter what the real result would be. Same with Efron: they had to give him something because he showed up. PCAs have nothing to do with the actual voting, they give the awards to anyone who bothers to show up, starting with the star who brings in the biggest number of viewers. It’s pathetic, really.
You mean just as pathetic as Eclipse beating Toy Story 3 and Inception, both of whom are far better movies, as best movie? Not that Eclipse was bad, but then again, I am convinced that Eclipse could have been a jar of mayonaise on the screen for two hours and still would have won, just for the simple fact that it is Twilight related.
I agree 100%. Don’t get me wrong, the Eclipse movie was good… but Inception and Toy Story were GREAT! Just because it’s Twilight, everybody votes for it. I think that’s kind of ridiculous. I didn’t vote for Eclipse because one, it wasn’t the best movie in it’s category, and two, crazy-obsessed fans were already voting for it! hahaha

Are you saying that these movies are so bad that only a Twi-hard would love them? As I’ve said all along, the movies haven’t been bad, but they aren’t better than the contestants they’ve been beating.
As for Toy Story 3… Toy Story (series) is appealing to almost everybody. In fact, most everything Pixar makes is. So it is appealing to a lot more than just 8 year olds.
Inception is undoubtedly the best movie of the year. But it’s people’s choice, remember? Most of the PCA viewers/voters are preteens or teens, so it’s hardly a surprise that Twilight wins the best movie. However, had Leonardo Dicaprio or Christopher Nolan showed up, Inception would’ve definitely won the best movie award. It’s just the way it works. As soon as the Twilight trio arrived, they got all the awards because they were the biggest stars present.
My opinion – Toy story is a cute movie. Not for me. I’m older than 8.
As stated already… Pixar’s Toy Story 3 (if you actually saw it) appeals to everybody at every age. In many ways, despite the wonderful Pixar humor, it was pretty dark and even sad at times. Not nearly as sad as Up’s beginning, but pretty darn sad. Pixar has a way of telling a story on many levels, but as many have realized… the People’s Choice Awards isn’t about picking quality entertainment, just what is popular…

Actually, only the people who won show up. Everybody else on the nomination list don’t bother to show up at the award show. Efron, Depp,Perry, ect. all knew they won before hand.
If Johnny Depp hadn’t showed up at the seremony, do you think he would’ve won the best actor award? Especially if Rob or someone else of the other nominees would’ve been present? No way. Even if Johnny got more votes than the others. I’m actually surprised that Johnny bothered to come to the award show, the PCAs are the lamest awards there are.
Although I agree with you about the PCA’s being lame,I do think the PCA would have still awarded Johnny Depp the award even if he wasn’t present, they would have just showed him accepting his award via satellite,like they do for every other unattended winner. In fact,Johnny Depp as even accepted an award from the PCa’s via satellite in 2005. Johnny Depp just cares a lot more about what the people award him than the Academy or the critics. That’s why he showed up.
First of all freaken Zack WHO? Are these people nuts? Rob does act a little goofy in front of people. I find his shyness really sweet. Anyway, I too noticed the thing between Kristen and Taylor tonight. BUT, don’t let them kidja. They’re playing it cool – I hope.
The show pretty much stunk tonight. Queen Latifa gets paid big bucks to do that dribble. Also, I thought Kid Rock sounded awful too.

I was watching with 2 of my friends and all 3 of us were looking at each other when noticing how close Kris and Tay were tonight. I’m sure theyre only just friends.. but it was a little eyebrow raising that Rob looked like a 3rd wheel..lol
After they were busted spending New Years Eve together they needed to do some damage control with Taylor. That is my take on it, they just wanted to let things cool down for a while.

I was totally rooting for Rob in the best actor category (even though Johnny Depp totally deserved it). However, when I saw Taylor Swift was the one presenting the award, I started rooting for Taylor. How awesome would that on stage awkwardness have been?
I don’t think Swift would be jelous. She’s kinda creepy. Dating, breaking up, then writing songs about it. That’s all she knows how to do.

Totally not dissapointed that I missed that drivel of a show, I know I could count on the Lexicon to give recaps of Twilight related wins and highlights.

Taylor and Kristen are tight. Aside from them just looking close last night, if you’ll notice when theyre all up on stage accepting their award, and Kristen is speaking, Her strap falls down and Taylor reaches over and pushes it back up for her. That’s two people very comfortable with each other. Body language can tell you a lot.
