“It was a rainy 2010 in Forks. The Forks Chamber of Commerce’s rain gauge, shown above on Thursday afternoon, Dec. 30, registered 130.36 inches for the year. Forks is the wettest incorporated city/town in the contiguous 48 states. “

My family and I visited Forks this past summer in August…we were there for 3 days and no rain! Guess we were just lucky….of course since it was sunny, no vampires either!
I’ll take the rain as long as the vampires are there!!! Haha!
I was there in late April and Early May rained 2 of the 3 days. Nothing big. I put on my rain jacket and enjoyed myself! Beautiful little town, loved La Push and the people of the area were so welcoming! Can’t wait to go back soon!
I can’t wait to go. I’m hoping to go next year. Do you think the twilight tourism and tours will still be going on after the last movie comes out? Do we think Forks fame will last?
its forks it has to rain there…
It’s living up to Forks here in Wales. :\ it’s hammering it down!! :O xxx
I like rain ….specially if Edward is there !!!!
WOW,…I hope when I take my vacation and take the Twilight Tour, it can stop just for a bit!
I’d love to go on one of those tours….one of these days.
Even with all that rain… I’d love to go to Forks, Washington… even if for just a little while… would love to go on the tours also! Would almost consider living there as well… hmmm…
How funny – the week I was on the Olympic Peninsula it was 90 and sunny everyday! The CoC said we were there the one week it’s hot and sunny each year. We actually got fried up at Hurricane Ridge (20 miles up the mountain from Port Angeles) while romping in the snow, in July. This is a gem of a vacation spot, which only begins with Forks.
wow, that is just unbelievable to me! where i’m from, we’re lucky to have 10 rainy days in a whole year. it would just be so weird to see that much rain!
Someday I will go…umbrella in hand, gleem in my eyes, and a true fans heart!
One of the rainiest is Hilo, Hawaii which has about 200 inches of rainfall per year.
That would be awesome if they could’ve filmed here!
