Dose has a great interview up with Alexandra Patsavas, the guru who has put together each of the Twilight soundtracks.
“Only the most try-hard of Twihards remember the exact rules of vampire baseball. But you might recall hearing Muse’s “Supermassive Black Hole” as the Cullen family stepped up to the plate in the first installment of the Twilight Saga. But then, maybe that’s not your favourite Twilight musical moment (scenes involving goofy baseball shirts so infrequently are). Maybe you’re more into swooning along to Iron & Wine’s “Flightless Bird” as Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) slow-dance at their school prom (Twilight). Or gasping over Bella’s near-death visions of Edward as Grizzly Bear’s “Slow Life” burbles up from the watery depths (New Moon). Whatever your favourite Twilight track is, though, Alexandra Patsavas had a part in it.”

Why did Alexandra put Neutron Star Collision where she did? It seems in such a weird place in the film at the graduation party??

Love all the soundtracks!
I too love all the soundtracks. One thing I’m thankful for the movies for, is introducing me to new music & bands. I hope they do as great a job for the BD soundtracks. And PLEASE can Rob contribute at least one song?!
I’m an old lady and have been listening to classical radio station only for 15+ years. I prefer the score soundtracks for Twilight. But between Twilight and NCIS I’ve been reintroduced to popular music. Not all of it my musical taste, but most of it not so bad.
Never Think [RPatz],With You In My Head [Unkle/The Black Angels], Heavy In Your Arms {Florence+The Machine. Where do you start for “the best” ? I tend to feel Sia wins… My Love. The proposal….what more can one say. I’m close to “60 years young” and I LOVE all 3 albums. Hoping BD is just as captivating to listen to. Thanks Alexandra-you ROCK !!!
