The Charlotte Observer covered the Twilight craze and specifically featured the events of this weekend’s Creation Entertainment Official Twilight Tour in Charlotte.
“Marlena Robinson’s car tells the story of her family’s passion for vampires, werewolves and love that transcends even bad habits like drinking people’s blood.
The Toyota SUV she drove from the Eastern North Carolina town of Willard with five nieces and nephews was covered in hand-painted slogans to celebrate Saturday’s “Twilight” convention at the Charlotte Marriott Executive Park.
“I’m a sucker for vampires,” the driver’s side proclaimed.”

I only live 3 hours away from Charlotte NC and I am feeling soooo much like I really missed out on something fun and wonderful (kicking my own behind right about now..lol) Hopefully they will come back this way again in the near future.

The convention was a blast! All of the actors were really accessible, nice and so funny. It felt like they were regular people. If we’d known my car would be so famous, I’m sure my nieces would have put more effort into the painting, but we were halfway there when we decided to decorate it. We will definitely be going again next time (Luigi has confirmed that he will be there too, if he hasn’t found Mario yet)
LOL Luigi was too funny! He would not talk to us in a Reg voice. He always said, “Where’s a Mario”. LOL.
