Yesterday Boo Boo Stewart did a fan signing in the Richmond Mall in Vancouver Cananda for fans(see above). All went well until (we are assuming it was Boo Boo) got sucker punched. According to the Mammarazzi1 twitter (the twitter run by Boo Boo’s mom for her kids, Boo Boo and Fivel)”hey its a bummer that someone thought itd be cool to sucker punch me chased him down held him until police came no biggie had a great time” and then in response to a local entertainment photographer who covered the event “thanks, had a great time even though i got punched, it all ended up ok, i’m ok thanks to everyone.” At first we weren’t clear whether the person who was attacked was Boo Boo or his mom, but sentiment seems to indicate that it was Boo Boo (who happens to be incredibly skilled in marital arts). The motive and mental well-being of the attacker is unconfirmed, but clearly they’ve never seen the size of Boo Boo’s dad.

That is seriously shocking. Geez people. Get a grip. I hope Boo Boo and family are all doing well.
This makes me really mad to see someone as nice and kind as Boo Boo have to deal with jerks like that. Yeah it is also funny becuase Boo Boo probally cold have kicked his ass if he really wanted too, and that person clearly doesnt know how big his dad is. Poor Boo Boo will have that to think of when he goes to his next signing.

There is only two words that can describe somebody dumb enough to punch a trained martail artist, from a family of stunt professionals and trained martial artists… “EPIC FAIL!”

There are some really messed-up people out there, and we tend to forget about them until something like this happens. These stars really put themselves out there when they do these meet-and-greets.

A sucker punch is like a punch to the face right? I mean, it wouldn’t really matter where he was punched, violence is violence. But what would make someone want to punch a young actor at random like that? I guess just any creep or moron. People like that make celebrity encounters (the good non-violent kind with squeals of excitement and pens and autographs) much more difficult for the rest of the world. Lameness all around. I’m glad his name wasn’t released, obviously the attacker just wanted some attention.
Reading that really pissed me off. He is just a kid. Its great that he could have done some damage to that person if he wanted to, but lets not forget that this “crazy” person just attacked a kid. I really hope his family and the Mall where he was doing the signing takes this seriuosly. I was happy to read that he is ok.
Poor Booboo, there’s some serious psycho’s out there. For god’s sake he’s just what, 15, 16?? he’s a kid. Well, not suggesting he cant take care of himself even if he is young, but still…
