Gigwise has a feature up on one of the most popular Twilight Saga bands, Muse. The focus is on how the band hadn’t been able to really break into the American music scene until they were added to the Twilight and New Moon soundtracks. Bassist Chris Wolstenholme told Gigwise, “The next thing you know, it’s Twilight fever. It’s good because it has made a difference for us in trying to break into America.” The band will be playing six concerts in the US very soon with a performance at Madison Square Gardens on March 5th. Read the whole story and see a slide show of images from Muse performing live over at Gigwise.

Muse was big way before Twilight. Twilight just brought even more attention to them.
Yes, they were – just not in the US.

I loved Muse way before I’d ever heard of “Twilight”, but if the movies have helped them in their career, I’m glad. I just hope that people will listen to their older stuff and realize how great they were before ever being associated w/ “Twilight”.
Yes , I have been listening to their older music and I love it !!!! So much soul ! They are so raw and real !!! <3
You ae sooo right!!!! The first time I heard Muse -it was by accident, btw- was in 1999… yep, long time ago, since then, I couldn’t stop to listen their songs. The old albuns are so good… & honestly better than the last one… in some ways, I mean. Ppl should listen the old one… it’s so raw, I’m sure you’re going to love it!!!!!
true. I have never heard of Muse at all, I only started liking them when I heard Supermassive blackhole
Best band in the world. Would never have heard or noticed them if it weren´t for The Twilight Saga <3 I have seen them live here in Sweden. They are absolutely fantastic!!!!!!
I’m going to see Muse on March 6th in Boston! They’re my favorite band.
Agree with everyone else’s comments. If it weren’t for Twilight, I would have never been introduced to this wonderful band. (A lot of other bands too, actually.) They had me at “Supermassive Black Hole.”
I looooooove Muse and am so glad I heard of them thru the Twilight soundtrack. So thankful they exist!
