Anna Kendrick, who just the other day added a Golden Globe nomination to her growing list of accolades for her performance in Up In the Air, and now add a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) nomination to her list.
The SAG nomination differs a bit from the Golden Globe Awards. With the Golden Globes, a performer is being recognized by the Hollywood Foreign Press. With the SAG awards, you are being recognized by your peers in the industry.

Wow!! Congrats Anna!! Being nominated for both the Golden Globes and the SAG awards usually does lead to an Oscar nomination, as Alicia said! Just to be nominated for any of these awards is a real feather in her acting cap!!
First time I saw Twilight I thought, “Forget Kristen and Rob, Anna and Michael (Welch) are going to be the big stars!” Those two have so much talent, its amazing! Glad to see Anna is being recognized. Can’t wait for Up in the Air to be released here.
