My NBC station was frozen for most of the day, and still is, so I missed Taylor on Leno and Kristen on Conan!! Not happy.
There have been so many clips coming out, its going to be like I have seen the whole movie already when I go to see the movie D: I am going to avoid these from now on…not that its going to help much now haha

no need to get so defensive. its true. they aren’t doing a good job keeping us in suspense. i wanna experience the movie in the cinema yet they show everything on the internet. people have stopped watching clips now but its too late that long 3 minute trailer basically showed the entire movie summed up in 3 minutes. besides if you are a die hard twi hard not wanting to watch clips would you be able to stop yourself if one popped up on youtube?!

in my opinion, this is a very good clip. Taylor Lautner’s acting here is just very good. i know it’s just a few lines, but the emotions you see in Kristen & Taylor’s face just say it all….
Okay did anyone else notice how he embellished greatly on the Twi Mom’s panties story? The way it had been reported (and didn’t it happen a long time ago at the Twilight premiere?)is that she handed him the panties for him to sign, he did not threaten to disrobe in front of her daughter and the world.
I think the retelling of this one incident, regardless of which version, was a shameful display of disrespect for the fandom. Jay didn’t appreciate it either.

I LOVE how awkward it is when he first comes in and she sees him with no shirt onn.. lol.. hes like “heyy.. about me being half-naked in your bedroom at night..funny story…” lol

Yep, Taylor was GREAT in this scene. Not sure what Kristen was doing though. Was she trying to keep him at a distance? Not sure what she was doing there. Probably will be more clear in the context of the movie. I did, however, think it was a pretty good clip.
Been busy most of the day watching clips, interviews, etc from the premiere. I had to work and attend class yesterday, but I don’t feel I missed a thing. To Lexicon and the other wonderful sites: way to go!! Thanks for the great coverage!
And I don’t mean *there* as in she doesn’t belong in the scene. Just wondering what she is doing with her hands as Jacob tries to approach her.
In the book, when Jacob comes into her bedroom, she tries to push him out because she’s so mad, then she starts to feel awkward because she’s touching his bare chest. Hopefully that clears it up for you.
I think that scene was supposed to be a little awkward. In the book this scene is supposed to happen after Bella confronted Jacob about why he had changed and why he wouldn’t speak to her. They got into a huge fight. So I think in this clip, that’s why they are so awkward. They just had a big fight where he didn’t answer any of her questions and broke her heart. I think Bella has the attitude of “dont come any closer to me, don’t touch me” because she is clearly still upset after they’re huge fight. Does that make any sense? That’s my interpretation of this scene anyway without seeing the movie. But, I completely understand the emotions they are trying to portray.
Taylor was great in that scene. I don’t the awkward silence and Kristen staring at Taylor’s ribs when he came in and she was not saying anything just kind of pushing him away… very weird and awkward. I guess I’ll blame MS for this one again since in the book that scene had a lot of lines to take for the movie yet MS chose not to write them in.
Bella (in the book) ask Jake what he was doing there, and to get out.
Reread that chapter and see how many lines there were. Not that it should be word for word but the silence from Bella was not good in the scene.
Oh,okay. Right, I remember that now. Thanks,Amanda. I thought perhaps that’s what she is trying to do there, but it’s unclear. Switzgal, you’re right. The silence at that point is what makes it unclear as to why she seems to be putting her fist near his rib cage. I’m sure though this is due in part to my looking at this scene out of context.
Ok, enough of me analyzing every little thing. I can’t wait. Two more days!!
