Pel is currently winging her way across the country to the West Coast for the premier of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. (Yes, she found a new dress about six hours before she went to the airport!) She will be on the red carpet where she will possibly get the chance to briefly interview any and all of the stars of the film. We’re opening up the comments section for Lexicon users to submit questions for her to use. We’re looking for good questions! Questions that no one is asking! The best of the best! We already have some ideas, but we know that someone out there is bound to come up with something that we haven’t thought of. So post a reply here with the name of the person you’d like to ask and the question that’s been plaguing your mind for a while and she just might have the chance to use it! Remember that she will have the chance to speak to more than just Rob, Kristen, and Taylor. I don’t have any ideas for questions, but can I just say, some of these questions are fantastic! I was expecting load of ‘will you marry me, [insertname]?’ or what’s it like to kiss a vamp? It shows not all of us are loonies!

Why can’t your character manipulate and control his own emotions the way he does others?
For Kristen: Did you do your own stunt during the “flip” in the Volturi fight scene when Edward is protecting Bella? If yes, what was that like? It looks great!

Melissa Rosenburg- When you sat down to write New Moon, were there are specific quotes or little moments that you felt absolutely needed to stay in the movie? (Basically, we all know big things like the birthday, both breakups, Volturi, vote, proposal and Jacob, Edward and Bella at the end needed to be in there. I’m thinking smaller scenes that are seemingly less important.)

The Twilight Saga fantasty has been a source of escapism for many people. It gives them a chance to get away from the crazy everyday life and dive into an awesome world unlike our own. What story has that effect for you?
We just descovered that Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have set there wedding date for September 26, 2011 and it will be made into an E! special so that all the fans can see them get married. Congrats!

I pondered your question, what could I ask that no one else has asked, and I thought of this. With the economic worries so many of us have been reading about, experiencing and trying to recover from, it is so wonderful to be able to be swept up in this incredible event… “Twilight”. Never in the history of cinema has so much excitement been generated about a movie, spanning the United States, Europe and Asia. And with each movie a TSUNAMI of emotion, passion, joy and anticipation is building. It has helped us to forget for just a brief moment our challenges. THANK YOU FOR DOING A GREAT JOB.

Have you heard about the Fandom Gives Back? (www.thefandomgivesback.com – It’s a group of Twilight FanFiction authors who have organized a fundraising drive auctioning Twilight items to benefit children’s cancer research foundation Alex’s Lemonade Stand).
Does it surprise you the communities of people that have organized and formed friendships, write blogs, publish podcasts, etc., as a reaction to Twilight?
Does it make you happy to know that people are using the power of these communities to give back to those in need? (Like Peter Facinelli’s tweeting to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand?)
Question for Stephenie: You were one of the co-authors from Prom Nights from Hell. Is your short story from it, Hell on Earth only written for this book or would you ever continue it? I found this to be one of my favorites from the novel and the differences between Gabe and Sheba make it seem like it would be an entertaining relationship. Has your Muse ever attacked you with ideas for that? If not do you ever think you’ll get inspired to write more? Or was it more of a one time thing? Was it a pact between you authors to leave it as it is in the Prom Nights from Hell book?
