The New York Beauty Examiner was able to ask Jodelle Ferland a few questions:
“I understand that right after the news broke that you had joined the Twilight family, fans went crazy and you got some intense reactions from your friends. Has the hype died down at all for you?
Yeah. I mean at first everybody was going crazy and everyone was congratulating me. They’re still all really excited and it hasn’t…no, they haven’t calmed down that much. *laughs* I have a Twitter account, and that hasn’t calmed down at all, I’m still getting the same amount of followers. Everyday. On the first couple of days I was getting A LOT, and now its not quite as many everyday. But it’s been about the same pace. My friends have calmed down a little bit, but they are still really really really excited.”

I totally agree with you! I mean, she only going to be in the movie for a few minutes, so I really don’t understand what all the hype is about. Bree screams and carries on for about five pages and then dies. Hmm, not a very significant part.
Btw is it just me or is it something about her face that totally creeps me out? I don’t know, she’s cute and all but something is just…weird…XD imo.

Twilight Lexicon has always honored ALL the actors in the movie(s). In the book, Bree’s reaction to her has a huge impact on Bella, so why not give the girl her dues??? Why are you people so hateful & petty? Sounds like sour grapes to me.
I think you’ll find she will have more screen time than 3 minutes. Xavier has a whole back story for Riley so I’m sure they will add more of a storyline for Bree as well. I think if they show Bree as a normal young girl, and then as a monster lusting after Bella’s blood, it will really demonstrate how uncontrollable the bloodlust is for a newborn. Then when Bella gets turned in Breaking Dawn, we will be able to better understand why Jasper is in awe of Bella’s ability to control herself.

She’ll probably do great, and just by the looks of her, I’m sure the scene with Bree will be hmm… at least very good.
But I haven’t seen her in anything, so I can only hope that she’s actually a GOOD actress.
i think she is such a pretty girl her face is gawgeous. She has a really NATURAL beauty which you don’t see often. But i think her role is like too small in Eclipse.and she dies in the end soo…
