I don’t know why you always say that. I’m French and I can perfectly see MTV coverage. I just watched the trailer (twice !) and the song. I have no problems at all with MTV !

IMHO – they gave away everything except Victoria and “proposal”.
They added what looks like a brief fight between Edward and Felix, which wasn’t in the book. It’s a big percentage of the trailer footage, but I’m getting the impression it won’t be very long in the movie, maybe a minute or less… I think they included it in the preview so that people who might not see New Moon otherwise will consider it? (I think they also wanted to save Jane’s powers for opening night.)
But other than that fight scene, it looks like everything else in Volterra is the same. I guess we’ll see when it comes out, though! =)

Not sure about the fight with the Volturi but the other scenes are quite wonderful. Love the “visions” of Edward.

Wow, this looks so much better than Twilight. I may be able to convince my husband to watch this one. He still hasn’t forgiven me for making him watch Twilight. He liked the books but not the movie.

The New Moon production quality, costuming/make up, and special effects look infinitely better than Twilight’s. Props are due, despite departures from the book. Italy in the novel was, after all, a little dull following Bella’s sprint across the piazza. I’m actually rather glad they punched it up a bit.
I’m trying not to be too optimistic, though. The Twilight trailer promised a lot and delivered very little in terms of overall satisfaction.
At this point, that’s how I’m feeling. I came into the Twilight fandom a bit late (January), having NO idea what I was getting myself into. Read and fell madly inlove with the books, watched the movie, and felt a touch disappointed. I do hope all the excitment of my favorite story from the Saga, with all it’s excitment and tragities, is portrayed on screen, even with the added drama.

I noticed that too. It is also longer than it is described in the book and not black and Ashley isn’t as short as Alice, but whatevs…she looks great.

Trailer was great!! I noticed something at the end. In the voultri lair, there is windows at the top showing light. Does this mean it isn’t underground.
The lair is definitely above ground. In the book Bella describes the beautiful female vampires wearing sun dresses and standing in the beams of sunlight when she is led into the room. She also talks about the room being in a turret, which is a tower within a castle.

I am super excited after seeing this trailer. They do give tons away, but who really cares everyone has read the books. Volterra does look more exciting than the book. The one thing they aren’t showing is post Italy….Bella and Edward getting back together, do we get to see the family vote on her fate, the proposal. We all rushed through the book to see them get back together so they better do it justice in the movie!
thank you for posting the New Moon trailer. Last year was a torture having to watch the VMA’s coverage. in this way we only see and watch what we want without been insulted and offended with low class comments and trashy behavior. thanks again

I thought I could hold out until November,but I was WRONG. I thought I'd just enjoy the movie even more by prolonging the wait.I was WRONG. That was absolutely visually stunning. I never had a doubt that Chris Weitz would do New Moon justice.

You are a better person than I am. I have been needing a new fix once I saw the first trailer. There is no way I could have waited until November. I think we will all be happy with the result; especially if some can get over some subtle changes like colors of cakes and cars and Alice’s hair

very excited for the movie! Even though there was no fighting in the actual book I think it brings a great touch to the movie,New Moon was my favorite book,mostly because it made me feel so many emotions and it made me cry so im uber excited to see this movie, it looks alot better then twilight and I’m sure it’s going to be just as succesful maybe even more so than twilight.

I live in the Philippines, and I still can’t see the clip. I’ve tried viewing clips from MTV’s website, but still I’m not allowed coz of the “Region” I’m in… (Sigh)
Hmm, for me, this video has less black/white correction done (TVs are generally brighter than computer screens, so the contrast need to be heightened to actual black and white). In simple terms, this video is darker and “murkier” that the previous version. How about posting all of them so people everywhere can see them.

last night on MTV i saw a scene with Edward talking to Felix. he was all ‘The girl stays with us’ and Edward was all ‘go to u-kno-where’. i didn’t see it though when i watched this one
