Sources like Fandango are pre-selling New Moon tickets for midnight relese tickets. As we previously reported, as various chains, like Carmike, come online and enter their ticket status and the sales begin. Don’t worry, more chains will be added. Your best shot is to keep monitoring Fandango to see when the theater by you comes online .
Thing are also hot overseas. The Australian newspaper Herald Sun is reporting that the movie is already sold out in various theaters there.
“Both Village and Hoyts cinemas will premiere New Moon at 12.01am on Thursday, November 19.
The screenings will be a double-header, with the first Twilight film being shown earlier on the Wednesday night.
Tickets for Village Cinemas’ midnight screenings went on sale on August 28 and many of the chain’s 15 participating locations across Victoria have sold out.”
We know we will be watching at midnight, and the next day, and the next day… WHat will you be doing?
I’ve already got my midnight showing tickets (in fact, they are doing something extra at my theatre. Some sort of party that cost a lot more than 8 bucks, and I’ve already got that.) and I’m planning on getting more tickets for later that day and the rest of the weekend when they go on sale. This is the one day in the year where people EXPECT me to act like a crazy fangirl, and I’m going to go all out.

Already got mine. Didn’t expect tickets in West Virginia to go on sale so early, but they did. Now if only it was November so I wouldn’t have to wait so darn long.

I’ll probably do what I did with Twilight last year. Go see it Friday at the 10:30/11am showing at the run down theater in town nobody goes to. Tickets are $5 and there were less than 10 people in the theater.

That sounds like a good idea, but Twilight is so much bigger this year than last year because of the the movie’s success. Your little theater might be busier than you expect. Here’s hoping it’s not.
I’m not sure I could wait the few hours between midnight and 10:30!

I have no idea when the tickets will be available here in Finland but I don’t think getting tickets will be a problem here. NM is not that big. If we even have a midnight screening I don’t think I’m going. I have no interest in ruining my first NM-watching with a theatre full of squealing teens.
Just bought tickets for the Augusta, GA area – they are on sale and Fandango never sent any email announcements!!!!
My parents will never allow me to go to a midnight showing, so I’ll be watching New Moon on the 20th.
I can’t go to the midnight show because I have kids to get to school the next morning. I promised my husband he can go with me on the Saturday, but in all honesty I can’t wait that long. So I will drop the kids at school on Thursday and be at the cinema by 9am. That should hold me over until Saturday! (Okay, maybe once more on Friday and then that’s it!)

I would love to attend a midnight showing… except last year for Twilight… the rude girls next to me talked and giggled through it the whole time! I’m waiting till a mid-day show when teens are in school! LOL! Peace and quiet so I can hear and see everything… and then inevitably seeing it again and again that week!!

i feel like im gonna be missing out on a lot if i won’t, but maybe just on the 2nd weekend of the movie, i’ll go watch
and lol, there’s actually an awareness group in Facebook about not screaming while watching NM so that we’d understand the story haha

Here in Malaysia, we are organizing an unofficial mini premier for New Moon tentatively on Nov 25th (the movie will be released here on Nov 26th, tentatively).
We have (so far) about 200 confirmed Twilighters and support from the local movie distributir for New Moon…

hey were can u get morgantown West Virginia midnight showing tickets???????? every were i look all i find is the minight showing in other states i want to go to either the hollywood theater or the carmile cinemeas theater thax 4 the time i need those tickets (we have 19 people coming with us)!!!! : )
I bought my ticket (along with two other friends) for the 10 am showing at a theater in downtown Knoxville (there are 2 mall theaters in east knoxville and several in west and you do not see teenagers downtown, ever) hoping that it would be the best choice to watch the movie without having to read bellas lips due to screaming idiots. Hopefully they’ll be in school but I’m afraid some of these just as crazy twilight moms are going to let their children skip school to see it!
I will probably cry out of frustration and possibly buy nachos just so I can throw cheese at the little girl that screams first.
