The Sunday Paper interviewed Peter Facinelli, who along with: Billy Burke, Catherine Hardwicke, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene are going to be at the Buckhead Westin in Atlanta for Creation Entertainment’s Twilight Tour.
“Are there any scenes from the books that you hope make it into the films?
For “New Moon,” there’s a scene with Bella (Kristin Stewart) where I stitch her up. I was excited to shoot that scene because it was a pivotal scene. It kind of sets up the whole reason why Rob’s character doesn’t want to change her into a vampire. I hope it stays in the movie because I feel like it’s essential and it’s a really nice scene for Carlisle and Bella; it’s an intimate thing. It’s a scene where a lot of information is being given and it shows another side of Carlisle, a soft side of him that I like. I’d be bummed if that was out. “

I hope they leave that scene in with carlise,we need more of the cullens before they leave and upset me.
They have to leave that scene in, I will be mad if they cut it! How will they explain Bella’s arm being fixed if they don’t. I just wish it was November so we can finally see what an awesome Job Chris has done!
Yup, I’d be bummed if it was out too, it’s one of my favourite scenes, seeing as it explains SO much.
I agree girls leave that scene in!!!WE missed the story of carlisle in twilight and the introduction of the volturi.I know they couldnt do that scene but i sill loved it any way. The scene in n.moon is important we learn truly why ed wont change bella and his whole take on things.Cant wait to see it
They should keep it in, considering Carlisle’s history was totally left out in the first movie, he needs his time to shine.
I am going to the Twilight Tour in Atlanta!!
I agree with everyone, we need more intimate scenes with the Cullens and Bella. Twilight just seemed to miss all that, even the relationship with Bella and Edward lacked that intimate feel that the book had.
Oooo, I agree with you. My biggest problem with Twilight was that I felt that the love story didn’t jump off the screen like it did in the book…they ended up cutting out a lot of those scenes. Even if they don’t include all the story and just condense it enough that we get the gist of Edward’s past in this scene, I’ll be happy. This is a pivotal part of the series, WHY Edward has issues with turning Bella…it would be awful if they left it out.
It would be a crime to cut that scene from the movie, so I hope the wise editors and directors keep it for the final cut.
Yeah, this scene is critically important, not only because it reveals much about Carlisle, but because it explains why Edward doesn’t want to turn her into a vampire. If they don’t include it, they are missing the boat. And I’ll be PO’d!
They have to keep that scene in! Thats soo important! They can’t leave it out! If they do i’ll be outraged….
I hope that the seen is not tooken out. I better not be!!! I luv that scene and it is important to the book and movie.
I’ll be in Atlanta! well because I live here, but I’ll be at the convention! Saturday though! See you all there! hopefully! haha yay! can’t wait! and, they should definitly keep that scene in, it’s crucial.
I agree with the rest of you. That scene has to be left in there. It just has to be. Rarely do I read a book that has a quote that changes my life, but that scene did have one. That part of the book is one of the reasons why I haven’t given up on going to medical school and getting my MD.
i agree this scene should definetly be in the movie- it is important
I cant wait to see Carlisle in Atlanta!
