Hello people, I’m Jaden Nation. Due to a perfectly-executed mixture of bribery, blackmail and Becka Grapsy (the three B’s) I am now a sorely-underpaid employee of the Twilight Lexicon. For the past couple of months I’ve been running a video blog about the New Moon movie and now the Lex offered to host my videos (in simple terms: Bailey got nothin on me). No, just kidding.
We’re having some bizarre problems (probably aliens) with uploading this week’s vid. And for those of you who don’t know, Jaden is Kaleb Nation’s younger, but equally awesome brother. For those who don’t know Kaleb, WHO THE HECK ARE YOU AND ARE YOU LIVING UNDER A ROCK?

I’ve been following TwilightGuy for a few months now and I had NO IDEA that he had a brother. Is Jaden older, younger, his evil twin!?
Because Jaden looks and sounds like exactly Kaleb, only, on crack. I had to watch it twice and still could catch all of it. He is funny, crude, but funny.
I thought I would put in my two cents on this “Russet Noon” shenanigans…
Although I am not an expert on copyright issues (by far!), I’m a law student, and I can say this – LadySybilla won’t win this case should it go to court. First because no judge would go for it. Second because no jury would go for it. And third, this is about as clear cut a case of copyright infringement as I’ve seen.
The copyright act that the US has (and this is a total over-simplication of it, but the gist is here, and I think this is how it works…) allows the original author of material to keep the privileges of copyright over their work for their lifetimes, plus 70 years after that. So pretty much, Steph owns the rights to the Twilight stories and characters until 70 years after her death. This is why “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead” isn’t copyright infringement; it was published way more than 70 years after Shakespeare’s death (contrast with 2001′s “The Wind Done Gone,” a “retelling” of Margaraet Mitchell’s 1937 novel “Gone With The Wind.” Mitchell died in 1949, which means copyright extends to Mitchell’s estate until 2019. Mitchell’s estate brought suit, but the suit ended up settling out of court).
Clearly, whoever Lady S’s lawyers were are just taking this case to get paid – it’s a stinker from the beginning.

I don’t know how else to get in contact with anyone, so I hope that this reaches you all well.
Monday (or Tuesday, I had to leave their discussion for a dissenting opinion) at Noon EST your forums are supposed to be flooded with people (newly signed-up people, I might add) who will be “protesting” Cullenism, or the worship of the Twilight series and characters.
This rather large (from my last count) group of people are “infuriated Christians” angry that their religion has been somehow compromised by the mere existence of another religion that has similar symbols to theirs (in particular, ‘holy days’ and ‘Twilight as a bible’).
I’m not a fan of Twilight, but I don’t agree with what this group is saying or doing, that is, deciding that the rights and happiness of others aren’t valid.
If you are a frequenter of the forums, or are an administrator, please be aware that their intention is malicious and they do intend on doing this.
They originally said their target was Meyer’s website forums, but since I couldn’t find any when I went to look, I emailed the site admin (her brother, it turns out) and made him aware of the situation as well. Their second target was your forums.
Again, I hope this finds the right people in time!
DOn’t worry, we’ll handle any trolls that come our way.

Thought it was hilarious. Though, I am a bit exhausted after watching it. He’s an energetic little thing lol.
