Breaking Dawn hasn’t left the best seller list since it came out in August 2008. In fact it’s regularly in the top five books on Amazon.com. Want to hook someone new on Twilight? Get them the Breaking Dawn Special Edition heading your way later this year. According to Borders the book includes “a full color poster and other exclusives.” Stand by for specific details about what makes this edition “special” on the Twilight Saga website in the coming months. TY to Kimmy from His Golden Eyes for pointing it out to us the other day.

I hope it has the same kind of cover as the Special Edition’s of New Moon and Eclipse. I love those kinds of covers, I really want all of the books like that. I’ve put off buying a hardback of Twilight waiting for that kind.
Pardon my ignorance but what exactly makes the Special Addition different from regular Hardcover? Is it just rough edge pages and raised font slip covers? Or is there bonus material?
I usually only ever buy paperback (easier to read in bed)
I like paperback too, but the special editions are great to just HAVE if you know what I mean…
I might get them all.
I will reserve my decision until I see exactly how special it is. I look forward to Eclipse coming out in paperback in August. I already have it in hardback, but paperback IS easier to carry around. Yes, I always have one of the four with me. As Breaking Dawn is still such a hot seller, I guess it will be 3 or more years before it is in paperback too. Sigh. At least I can read any of them when I want. Not much to complain about really.
My cousin has got Breaking Dawn in paperback
i wish i had the special editions of the books. i’ve got the regular paperback TWILIGHT, the movie tie-in paperback TWILIGHT (with the pull-out poster), the collector’s edition of TWILIGHT, and everything else in hardcover… my aim is to at least get a regular and movie edition paperback of each book. although, if i ruled things, the “special edition” covers (the ones where the jacket is printed on the book itsself, hardcovers) would be the natural way of things. no more freaking out over whether the jackets will get torn or whatever! it’d be awesome!
If it’s not like the Twilight Collector’s edition, I’m not buying. Nothing against it, I just want the books to look the same.
melisa, they probably won’t put out a BD like that till around the time THAT movie is released…
Yay! Can’t wait…
Wow…Now I’m excited! What kind of bonus material will there be? When’s the release date? Please Twilight Lexicon, let us now!
