Although there is no official date after getting conflicting dates, the US releasae to DVD is March 21 for Twilight on DVD we do have the official cover art released by Summit.

I’ll definitely buy the DVD but unlike many of the movies I buy (b/c I love them and have to buy them), this one won’t be a blu-ray due to the quality…although Rob in hi-def…hmm tempting!

Talked to the guy in FYE today, and he told me that they were doing pre-orders for it, as it’s supposed to be in stock end of March. He didn’t have an exact date, but he said if you pre-ordered it was cheaper.

I wish they’d have used some new pictures, instead of recycling the ones from the movie posters with a different background. But at least they didn’t just repeat the posters exactly like they did with The Dark Knight’s DVD. Ah well. I’ll buy it anyways.

Why are the fingers of James and Laurent spread so far apart? I guess it does make them look more animalistic. Bella looks SO helpless *sigh*.. which I guess she kind of is in the beginning. Maybe I’m just being grumpy because I just woke up :T I just always picture Twilight as much more of a romantic book than an action one, because really there is very little conflict until the end. But Hollywood will always over-exaggerate the action to bring in more audiences…
I went to FYE the other day, and they told me that the Twilight movie is being released on Valentines Day, and you can preorder it. So I suppose that that’s the offical release date. Febuary 14, 2009!
