I love Catherine and Nikki!!!
really cool interviews…
=)
Nikki seems like such a nice person. It really is a shame that people have been so rude, saying that she doesn’t deserve to be Rosalie. That must be devastating to hear. And it’s amazing that she moved out at 14! I really admire her for that. It takes a lot of strength to grow up at such a young age and still become successful.
Nightline did a GREAT and pretty long look at the Twilight phenomenon with Stephenie and Rob interviews. I think it’s a great piece and does a good job of explaining what is going on now.

hahah awesome interviews.. uhm.. we definitely gotta make it to the 150 mil on opening weekend. no doubt we will i’m sure.. 9 more days O_O!!
I liked the nightline video a lot.
Has anyone else read this interview on MSN?
http://movies.msn.com/movies/hitlist/11-11-08_2/
I’m sure the lex administrators have been emailed about it, but it blows my mind that she calls twilight fans who celebrated the movie and book “retarded.”
Seriously? The Nightline piece was great, as ABC usually is, but I wish I hadn’ tseen the MSN thing with Kristen until after the movie. I have seen small bits of her being rather, in my mind, ungrateful and unprofessional, but that one will be hard to put out of my mind while I’m watching the movie and that’s a shame. I’m 28 and I can’t imagine walking into my office and talking that way about my clients, which is what movie fans are. It’d be a pink slip for sure…
kristens comments seem pretty accurate to me. twilight fans are kind of retarded, they’re re obsessive. its one thing to appreciate the movie and the books but to follow the actors on set and scream at them at every glimpse just because they acting in a movie off a book you really like does seem a little silly. I’m a twilight fan (obviously) but the actors are just people playing these characters that I adore they’re not the characters themselves. I think twilighters often blur that line of reality and fiction a little too much.
I think the point of the MSN article is not the fans, but Kristen herself.
Obviously someone who considers themself an “industry pro” should have learned a little tact in interviews by now.
Especially to use such a socially ignorant term for those who are supporting the movie she stars in.
About the Kristen article…Honestly, I know she has said she doesn’t want the movie to flop, just like everyone in the cast/production has said they are worried about. She’s worried there that all the hype is too much and really no one will like the film.
And don’t believe everything you read. The film, and all the actors have usually gotten great reviews (Well they are awesome people), I think some reporter wanted to put a bad spin out there. There was an article about Rob being snobby and not wanting to talk to people, and how many believe that? After all the apperances he’s done around all the craziness? All the autographs he’s signed.
If it was a film of her saying it then I would probably be a bit put out, but being that it is just “She said this” I’m not buying it. Even if she does feel that way, I think she has enough smarts not to say it to a reporter about a moive she is worred about. Just my 2 cents
was cedric even in the order of the phoenix?
i can’t remember hahah
I agree with the blurring the line thing, btw. But I still have a problem with Kristen if she really used the word “retards” to refer to fans. They are the clients that are going to make or break this movie. And that is an unacceptable word to use to describe pretty much anyone, no matter how silly they are behaving. I hope it was taken out of context, but for goodness sake’s, learn a little tact! I think that word is as bad as some racial slurs. It’s not a nice thing to say, especially about the people who will determine whether or not she gets to make sequels (and get more money and more fame!). She needs to grow up a little and be more professional if she really said that.
spillls – you may need to re-watch Goblet of Fire (and/or re-read). Something rather significant happens to Cedric at the end of the story.
no i know what happens in the end of goblet of fire hahah but in the first interview it said he played an important part in order of phoenix or something like that and i dont remember him being in there
I’m pretty sure Kristen was joking in that MSN article. It didn’t sound like she meant the word literally, she was just saying how devoted the fans are.
I really enjoyed reading what Nikki Read thought about her character and Twilight. It cleared some of my own doubtful thoughts of her casting as Rosalie. It really wasn’t her choice to be cast as her. Whoever made that decision, probably had a good reason and saw her potential as Rosalie. There are a billion beautiful chicks in the world, and they chose her- so they must’ve had a good reason to cast her.
I really can’t wait for the movie to come out! Yay.
Kristen did not just say retards. Who the hell is she. I knew this was going to happen. To me I’m beginning to think that Nikki Reed would have even made a better and more considerate Bella.
Look Kristen if you don’t want us the fans then we’l leave you and cheer someone like Rob or Ashley or even Talor who seem to understand and are grateful for the fans!! I fit were not the fans Twilight would be dead just like Eragon, Thank you.
Sorry, I do cherish the books and my friends will be watching it more than once but Kristen watch how you refer to the fans.
…..straight up kristen is getting me frustrated…. retards? as if…..
