- Bailey AKA No More Marbles of YouTube and TwiCon fame (interviewed by Pel and Alphie)
Alphie had the chance to preview the Cullen crest jewelry that should be hitting Borders shelves this week, and she was way impressed. Alphie, who will probably kill me later for saying this, is a bit of a jewelry snob, so this is saying something.
Also remember that this weekend Borders has their Twilight Fans Pre-release Movie Party this weekend. The parties will feature:

And Borders will give away two FREE movie tickets for Twilight, courtesy of Fandango, the nation’s largest movie ticketing service. Don’t forget to enter the raffle!

I work at a Borders in Chicago, and I can say that we got tonnnnns of goodies to give away for the party we’re having. Posters, tshirts, keychains, stickers, pins, so yea…should be fun.
Does anyone know what new footage was shown last night during heroes. My friend said there was like ten minutes. Was the footage new and does anyone have a link?

I would be going to the Miami Hot Topic but getting up at 4 am is not my cup of tea and especially if it isn’t even guaranteeing an autograph. So I am going to the Borders party instead.

I sooo might be going! I asked my dad to take me to a Borders that is 45 minutes away, cause the one that is closer to me isn’t having a party so that’s why, but anyway..I asked and my dad has to work til 2 that day but he said he might be able to take me up there! AAHH! I sooo have to go, I took off work for this party, it’s what I’ve been waiting for! and I just got my ticket for the movie, so I can’t wait!!

Well I’m a bit of a book snob. I wish Barnes and Noble would do contests like this. I don’t like Borders at all. Anyway, my brother Robert works at a B&N so I get his employee discount, plus my membership discount on books, cds, dvds, etc.
please check with your local borders! on the site it says that mine will be having it. however when i called to double check..he informed that no they will not being having this party. that it was up to the store itself if they wanted to do it. so they decided not to do it i told him they had it listed they would and he said oh really. his reason…because most of their customers that come thru there for the series are adults. i go and your point? i’m a grown women with a child..that matters? he was kinda shocked.
so he told me to call walden’s they might be doing it. so i called the one in the mall and he told me yes they would be. he said he didn’t think there would be a big turn out. he wasn’t sure all that they would do either. but did say they would give the tickets away.
