Remember to Tune Into Spike TV

According to Summit Entertainment:

New TWILIGHT footage premieres October 21st on Spike TV:

Check out Exclusive World Premiere footage from TWILIGHT, presented by Cam Gigandet on Spike TV’s SCREAM 2008, the first and only event honoring the best in fantasy, sci-fi, comics and horror!
SCREAM 2008 Premieres Tuesday, October 21 At 9 PM, ET/PT Only On Spike TV.

If you weren’t excited about SCREAM 2008 before, start getting excited now! We look forward to hearing your thoughts on the footage!

Now clearly Summit is biased as to the product being shown; however, Buzznet had a blogger in attendance when the event taped the other night who wasn’t a Twilight fan at all, and this is what they had to say:

TWILIGHT: An EPIC world premiere of seriously terrifying proportions from the upcoming, highly anticipated feature film based on the books by Stephenie Meyer. Did I mention it was introduced by (which means I was in the same room as) cast member Kellan Lutz? I’ve never read the books and I’m totally not a superfan, but I can tell you with utmost sincerity that TWILIGHT IS GOING TO RULE. Watch the show on Tuesday to see if you agree.

  1. WOO!!! I had wanted to watch the 2008 Scream Awards anyway now i’m totally going to watch it for sure!!!!! Yay now im all excited!!!!!

  2. sweeeeeeeeeet

  3. Wow. I am so excited! WOOT Kellan!

  4. As if Spike wasn’t already good enough with CSI and Star Wars, an awesome new reason to watch!

  5. I just set my dvr:p

  6. That guy is very mistaken. I was at the Spike Awards and it was Cam that introduced the Twilight footage, not Kellan. And it was basically what they showed at Comic Con, but super edited. Still excellent, but very different from this Buzznet guy’s account of the night, haha. At least it got him interested.

  7. To Car: Aww, so basically it’s gonna be the same thing? Dangit. Lol.

What I’m so glad about, though, is the fact that a non-Twilight fan, who doesn’t hate the fandom and it’s craziness, is actually excited about it too. This is a good sign. (:

  8. Yay! A non-crazy liked it!

Me = pretty darned happy, even considering the math homework I still have undone.

  9. i hope that someone will be posting it on youtube…i don’t think i have Spike on my satellite. :(

  10. StinaCullen says:

I don’t either right now!!! We just moved and Haven’t got our satellite hooked up at our new house yet :( Gahhh!!!!

  11. Terrifying?? Hmmmm… Not so sure about that. I’ll be tuning into Spike tonight, though, regardless! ;)

  12. Ahh gosh I can’t wait!!

  13. I can’t watch it.

  14. I just set my DVR :). I set it for the 11 oclock show b/c i didn’t want anyone to change the channel on me just in case i miss it. it is also on again tomorrow so don’t feel bad if you miss it tonight :)

  15. Enough for Forever says:

That just proves that Summit did a good job of portraying Stephenie’s amazing story so that even people who haven’t read the books will anticipate the movie and perhaps be inspired to read the books. Thank God Catherine took on the project and was so willing to involve Stephenie and the fans. I would hate to see Twilight destroyed the way Harry Potter (specifically OotP) was.

The Spike thing starts in 4 minutes. Hmm…looks like history homework will have to wait.

  16. It was Awesome! Cant wait till the its actually released. Although it wasnt a new clip, it was actually shown at comic-con well its part of what was shown at comic-con..not sure if the Alice, Emmett, and Jasper part was there tho…

  17. I just seen the footage and it was awesome! It just made me even more anxious to see it!
