Cafepress has a coupon for free shipping available for this weekend only. The coupon is valid in the Lexicon Cafepress store, or any Cafepress store for that matter.

Hmmmm… I wonder why Cafepress is taking down everything that is Twilight related (even if it’s their own graphics and does not violate copyright) except for all the big people in the Twilight fandom.
I certainly can’t answer for Cafepress policy other than how it relates to this site. However the Twilight Lexicon has had permission since August 2006 before we started our store to run the Bella & Edward image that we use. The other products that we feature such as the generic vampire girl do not violate copyright law because we did research and never violated the law by using full character names, Little Brown images, direct quotes, or things along those lines.
Additionally Cafepress questioned our Bella/Edward image in July 2008 and the Bella/Edward logo was unavailable for two weeks until we proved that we had permission.
We support Cafepress’ clearly stated terms of use policy and have not in any way violated it. When there was a misperception of copyright violation we proved our case. We respect the rights of intellectual property owners to maintain their rights ( just ask the Coca Cola company what happens when you don’t do that), and Cafepress to protect itself as an business and not allow itself to be a conveyance for copyright infringement.
So sorry to disappoint anyone looking to make something out of nothing, but this site actually has been in compliance with law. It’s also why we don’t run scanned photos or articles without permission of the publisher, give links to illegal downloads, etc.
