The LA Times the other day paraphrased Stephenie’s statement and reported "…author Stephenie Meyer tells her readers she has decided to discontinue "Midnight Sun…" now granted later on in the article they go on to quote Stephenie several times including her statement, "and so it is on hold indefinitely".
Unfortunately any number of readers and news outlets picked up "decided to discontinue" and didn’t pick up on the fact that Stephenie actually said "hold indefinitely" (in our opinion a slight but important variation in terms). They are now asking for follow up opinions now that people have had time to digest the news.

Ever since the first chapter was uploaded on her site, we’ve been anticipating Midnight Sun’s release. When she revealed that it would be her next project we were very excited. Obviously we would be upset to have MS on hold, even if we support her decision. The article is over dramatic and a bit demeaning… but what do we expect?
I did break down and read Midnight Sun. I’ve found Stephenie’s additional writings always add a depth to the world she has created. MS’s first 12 chapters do not disappoint – they simply make the story even richer, which was something I didn’t think possible. For that, I am grateful to Stephenie. Thank you for at least that insight into Edward.
I will support her in whatever her final decision is. I do think “on hold indefinitely” is not necessarily on hold forever. She left the door slightly – albeit very slightly – open with that. Here’s to hoping for MS and enjoying whatever stories she is currently creating.
Why are people so nasty to each other
it makes me so sad when people say crybaby or things like grow up and get over it, and sometimes they were talking about steph! at least she knows we love her.
okay, great statements everyone but what is this accomplishing?can the lex please contact Stephenie and get her to clarify her statement? It isn’t fair that all the millions of fans have to suffer for what some websites did. I don’t understand the logic in that at all.
I truly think that it will do her good to focus on another project. Twilight and the other three books are finshed. Midnight Sun was always a writing excercise and some nice extra treat for her fans. If she’s now to stressed out about Bella and Edward’s story she should really either write something else or spend time with her family. It would do her good and I am sure every fan understand. Please don’t put too much pressure on her!
Aw man she’s really not publishing it? Even for the loyal fan base that want her to? She’s then just letting those rude fans who leaked it win!
Writing is a form of art and Stephenie clearly is a very sensitive and delicate artist. She needs understanding and no demands from her millions of fans.
Stephenie is the most patient and giving author towards her fans I have known. She has accepted the craziness of book signings (which I have attended and seen first hand) and media in the past few years with more grace and with a sense of humor than most could. I wish the fans and media would just take a step back and leave her alone. Midnight Sun is FANTASTIC, and I really hope one day she decides to finish it. To be able to write the he said/she said of such a wonderful series speaks to her amazing talent. After reading MS I was pulled right back into the series, and I am enjoying rereading it with the peek into Edwards head that she has given us (even under sour circumstances). It would be a tragic loss to the published series (and her fans!) if she didn’t finish and publish MS. This is such a unique concept and compliments “Twilight” better than I could have imagined. We love you, Stephenie!!
Everyone can’t help but point out that Stephenie Meyer is acting immature. ” “I’m so depressed! I can’t move on!” ” says a commenter.
As soon as SM does something that fans aren’t fond of, they start pulling out rude names. Stephenie Meyer is not immature, she is a 30-something year old mother of three and a wife. She has published five books now, which are all up top on the charts. She’s a very busy person. SM has made many difficult decisions during her career as an author. This Midnight Sun fiasco was basically a slap in the face to her. It is very apparent that she has been hurt emotionally. Having her trust betrayed did not cause her to act “immaturely”. She had to make a heart-felt decision of putting Midnight Sun “on hold indefinitely”. You cannot deny that SM loves Edward more than any one of us, and she wanted the world to know his story. However, she feels that her and her Edward have been betrayed with the leaking of this unfinished story. While she is feeling quite negative, how do you expect her to continue writing the story??
It honestly disgusts me, how most of Stephenie’s supposed-to-be loyal fans sway so quickly to the dark side, slandering SM at any given chance.
Stephenie Meyer is human, like everyone else. She is an excellent author, storyteller, and/or entertainer. Give her the support she deserves!
Carol posted this comment, and it deserves to be reposted:
“Oh, and I think we need to give Steph some space. Seriously, she’s been through a tough time with the Breaking Dawn Controversy, then THIS. I think she’ll continue Midnight Sun, I just don’t know when. Give her some time, and stop attacking the poor woman, she’s not our slave. I know we all adore these books (well, at least the people here) but she’s already published 4 books in what? 3 years..she needs a rest, I know I would.”
Yes, Stephenie does need her space. She definitely deserves a vacation and a lot of time to spend with her family.
ALL YOU GUYS WHO ARE SAYING THINGS LIKE SM IS A BABYCRYER AND SO ON NEED TO SHUT YOUR PIE-HOLES!!!!!!!!!!YOU ALL ARE A BUNCH OF HATERS!!!AND YOU DONT DESERVE TO SAY YOUR SM FANS(OR TWILIGHT FANS)!!!!!!B-CUZ SM IS AWESOME NO MATTER WHAT SHE DOSE!!!!AND ALL THIS HATER TALK IS SSSSSSOOOOO OLD AND ANNOYING SO YOU CAN STOP NOW, CUZ EVERY TIME I READ STUFF LIKE THAT IT MAKES ME SICK THAT YOU WOULD SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!! SM IS AWESOME AND US REAL SM FANS LOVE HER NO MATTER WHAT!!!!
SO STOP DRINKING THAT HATER-AID!!!!!!!!!!!!
I KNOW THATS KINDA MEAN,BUT ITS TRUE. SORRY FOR THE LONG POST.P.S. WHY DID LA TIMES PUT ALL THOSE NEGATIVE COMMENTS, THE POSITIVE ONES OUT WEIGH THE NEGATIVE BY FAR.
THEY MOST BE HATERS TO(JK)
i havent read the article so i cant comment on it, and having seen peoples reactions i dont think i will read it, i have however read the rough draft and i simply cannot wait to read the final product that im hoping and praying will come out. i know she is suffering from a terrible betrayal (at least in her mind, where i her i would not be as offended, i mean look at how many people are begging for it, but then, i am not her)but i think i would be in a little way devastated if edwards side doesnt get told, it clarifies a lot of what he does in twilight “aahhh thats why he said that!” etc. and i think you need both sides to truely understand it all. i have been in the middle of a set of books where the writer had clinical depression and stopped writing the 3rd book and after about 5 years seems will never write that book, and it had ruined everything for me, i can no longer appreciate the series becuause i know i will never finish it, and i hope that is not the decision stephanie makes here, please dont take out on millions the punishment for the actions of a few.
I agree with what Brendan Says:
“It is pretty hard to get into other books after the Twilight series. Has anyone else noticed that? Even after your little Twilight withdrawal, other books just aren’t as exciting. Even when I go back to old favorites, they seem a little dull.
I am I the only one who feels this way?”
I mean…i wouldn’t go as far as to say that these are the absolute best books in the whole world, but there’s something about them that draws you in unlike other good books. *shrug* As for MS…i definitely have my fingers cross that SM will get back to finishing it. Personally i loved Edward’s POV just a bit better than Bella’s.
As for this whole ordeal…it sucks for Stephenie and i understand that she must be stressed out and tired but i sorta agree with a statement i read in a Wall Street Journal (posted previously): One publishing executive unaffiliated with Mrs. Meyer or Little, Brown said he thought that Mrs. Meyer might have overreacted to the partial posting. “I think it’s an extreme decision,” he said. “When music stars have stuff leaked on the Internet, they don’t junk the entire album.” But i guess that’s the part of me that REALLY wants MS to get published eventually. I just don’t like this whole if’s and maybe’s teasing.
I wish her the best and hope for the best as well for us fans
Hasn’t anyone realized that maybe if people would stop posting what she does have written for midnight sun then she might reconsidered i’m not dumb and i know what the word indefinitely means but i don’t think she would want to upset her readers that much and she already knows that midnight sun will be just as good as the twilight saga so maybe she will continue it after she is done being upset but it takes time so everyone just wait and see what happens
i really understand why everyone on both sides of this fence are upset…..i love these book just as much at the rest of her fans, but the problem is that it is much more personal to stephenie than it is to all of us. i was so sad to hear that this awful thing had happened to her and that someone would be so malious and but midnight sun out there but for her so called fans to start to call her names and turn on her is the worse of it all. The news will be the news trying to get everyones attention with there big bold headlines but in the end this hurt us all. she is a brillant writer who has given us all so much already and now this great piece might not ever make it where it was intended to be…bond and published with twilight..call us babies call her other names but what has happened in wrong. this is a sad day for all her true fans.
Monika, I understand the meaning of having something leaked out. I’m just saying the COMPARISON of Stephenie Meyer’s reaction and Fall Out Boy’s reaction isn’t fair. Having something completed and put on the internet and having something that you haven’t completed and put on the web is different. Both things come from an inspiration. If inspiration is taken away half way through – as opposed to after it’s been completed- it can change how the writer looks at it. That was the point I was trying to make.
A girl named Isabel posted something yesterday at 9:58 a.m. and i read it just now. i completely agree with you, because you are right. Stephenie is not a machine and think about it. She’s been writing for the last four-five years non stop, so she more than deserves a break. her books are amazing, and i loved all five and a half of them: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, The Host, and the half of the leaked Midnight Sun (for the most part it was awesome! and pretty funny too!). i do hope she is okay though, after that huge betryal a few days ago.
reading peoples “opiniions” on that article made me ad. all of them were negative.caling her a drama queen and stuff. it pissed me off. she has every right to respond the way she did!
I think that she should continue to write it because there are many people who did not go looking for it and still won’t. I want to read the completed copy and I don’t think it’s fair that people who did not go looking for the leaked version will be deprived of continueing to read about Edward and what goes through his mind.
Please Stephenie, keep writing!!!
I do not like the quotes they chose for the article. The times makes it seem like Stephenie has no supporters, and we are all over-emotional teenage drama queens. I support Stephenie’s decision and I think fans need to remember that she is writing the books for herself. I only hope that she does not take the poor, abusive, ridiculous comments from some as a marker of her whole fan base. I hope she knows that she has just as many fans who are behind her and support her decisions. We were lucky to get the 4 Twilight books we did. Midnight Sun would just be really good icing on a already excellent cake.
PLEASE FINISH MIDNIGHT SUN STEPHENIE! IT IS SO GOOD! AND IM NOT QUITE SURE IF I AM READY FOR THE TWILIGHT WORLD TO BE OVER! D:
I think that Midnight Sun is a masterpiece, as is. I believe that it will turn out to be one of Stephenie’s greatest works, if not the greatest. That’s why Stephenie needs to rest, relax and regroup herself amd than finish Midnight Sun…PLEASE…OH PLEASE!!!
They made us sound like teenage drama queens. I mean COME ON!!!! The LA Times made it seem like she has no fanbase. I think that if those people had a brain(sry 2 those ppl) they would just look at the Lexicon and get a clue that her fanbase is HUGE.
This is to Stephenie,(in the slight chance that she might read it)
Stephenie, I know that you are hurt and I feel for you, So I will wait for Midnight Sun to be published and I hope that one day it will be. Hope you can recover from such a big blow( and I’m not saying that just so MS will get published, I want YOU TO FEEL BETTER!)
Jessica,
I think they’re focusing on the fans disappointed in Stephenie because the media tends to emphasize on negative responses. I have to admit, negative news really buzzes people up.
I didn’t bother to read the article. But Stephenie should do whatever she wants. I think she needs to take time off and just enjoy what she is writing without the pressure of deadlines or editing. She’s been publishing and writing almost every year since 2005. Imagine how exhausted she must be from all the editing and tours. And why did she do it? She did it because that’s how much she loves the characters and wanted to share it to the world.
So why should she share something that she values now when more than half of her fans don’t even appreciate the work and effort she puts into creating such a wonderful imaginative world?
She should really take that rest. I think she deserves it.
Before I make my comments, understand that I have read all of Stephenie’s books mant times and I am a huge fan. Midnight Sun looks to be her best work, both from perspective and writing. I think Stephenie knows this. Her contract is up with Little, Brown, etc. What better way to put pressure or to sell the book than to put out a piece of that excellence? Most of us would do the same. Writing and publishing at this level is a business. My disappointment is the fact that young and impressionable fans have been dragged into the fray. I hope I am wrong, but my gut tells me otherwise……
I can understand that she is going threw a hard time right now. She needs to give herself a rest.
I really don’t Midnight Sun quit yet.
I’m taking a break on reading and just waiting for the movie or until i feel like reading.
I agree with you all that the article is terrible. Not all of the twilight fans are acting like that…. Anyway I hope SM will publish Midnight sun. I read the draft (after SM posted it on her website) and I have to say I think I like it better than twilight. It was great and in my opinion her best work yet.
I think SM will eventually publish Midnight Sun becuase she is a character writer and hopefully Edward wont stop wanting to tell his story. I hope SM will take a well diserved break, spend time with her family, and then start writing again. But whatever happens we’ll always love you Stephenie!
Despite what the LA Times says, Stephenie has an immense fan base that really appreciates her, are dying to read Midnight Sun, and who truly enjoyed Breaking Dawn.
That said, I think that Stephenie really should continue writing Midnight Sun. I understand that her work being leaked was not only illegal but also extremely cruel; however she has thousands of fans counting on her to continue her story. As mentioned many times, perhaps some time off would be ideal. I doubt any one could argue that she didn’t deserve a break-publishing five books in four years is truly a daunting task!
In my opinion, leaving Midnight Sun unfinished would be a bad choice for Stephenie. Because of all the attention she is receiving, it is likely she will sell even more copies of M.S. Also, failing to publish M.S. would crush many of her fans, especially those who devoured the excerpt of M.S. she posted and are dying to read the rest! Stephenie’s books have touched many lives; I have friends who would have rather cut off their fingers than read, and have now become avid readers because of the Twilight Saga.
Living in a world centered around electronics, the fact that books can still instill this much excitement and enthusiasm is not something to be taken lightly. As such, Stephenie should realize the impact she has on the youth of today and continue writing stories that inspire, excite, and most importantly emphasize the importance of love.
Anyways, long story short, Stephenie please don’t pull a Dickens and leave M.S. forever unfinished.
What this article says, is it true? Or is it trying to get a story? Did Stephenie Meyer really just drop Midnight Sun? Or is she really just going through a rough time and still deciding?
Personally, I don’t think that she would start a project, announce it to her audience, and after it’s exposed earlier than expected, decide, “Oh, the heck with my fans. I’m not finishing this book after getting everyone worked up about it.”
If she does decide not to finish it, then at least we know what kind of author she truly is. At this moment, I don’t think she will, but it can still happen. If it happens, then we know that we can’t have high expectations for her. No matter what we do, whether we beg, write in our blogs, or whatever, its still her decision and there’s really nothing we can do.
Brendan and others who mentioned having a hard time getting into non-Twilight books:
In my quest to rejoin the world of “Reading After Twilight Saga,” I just finished my 2nd book after finishing (and almost-done reread) of Breaking Dawn. The book was The Thirteenth Tale, by Diane Setterfield, and it was amazingly good. The main character, who is narrating, is a great lover of books, and makes some astoundingly astute comments peppered throughout regarding books in general or reading habits. This one quote struck me and managed to sum up some “book feelings” I’d been having recently that I hadn’t fully put a voice to:
“All morning I struggled with the sensation of stray wisps of one world seeping through the cracks of another. Do you know the feeling when you start reading a new book before the membrane of the last one has had time to close behind you? You leave the previous book with ideas and themes – characters even – caught in the fibers of your clothes, and when you open the new book, they are still with you.” (pgs. 289-290)
That pretty much sums up my experience with the Twilight series. I’m since on my fourth book post-BD (the above paragraphs were from a blog I wrote over a week ago), but I totally identify with the quote because it really feels like the Twilight series characters have woven themselves into my clothing won’t come undone. I find myself constantly thinking about things related to the series, discussing with other adult friends, etc. I just have so much love for the Twilight world that it is extremely difficult to shake off…not that I really want to, mind you.
And I hope, if SM reads this, she takes that as a compliment. I think it’s safe to say that the majority of us feel that way. I genuinely hope she enjoys a much needed break, while her legion of fans wait with baited breath for Midnight Sun’s publication.
I am not a “Breaking Dawn Hater”, but I did not enjoy it as much as the previous three. In saying that, I have so much admiration for Stephenie! I do not feel she has to “redeem herself”. Millions loved BD – I just found it unsatisfying. Many didn’t love New Moon, but I thought it was brilliant. We all have different opinions and thats a good thing! As for MS, I will keep on hoping and saving that slot on my bookshelf! We love you, Stephenie, dont give up on it. I don’t want BD to be the last addition to the saga – I want it to be MS!
I agree completely with Jessica L and #61 Lauren. I find it so aggravating how everyone is calling Stephenie overdramatic, full of herself…etc. She didn’t even say that she’s never going to publish Midnight Sun ever. She said indefinitely, and anyways, she deserves a break after writing nonstop these past few years.
Of course I hope that she will finish MS and publish it and I’m sure if she does finish it, it will be an amazing book!:)
Hey, need another vampire book series or a show to keep you busy for awhile? Here is a link to ck out TrueBlood, a book turned into a series. Unfortunatly you need HBO to watch it. But there are always the books.
http://www.hbo.com/trueblood/
Like Ive said, I love SM’s books but give the woman a rest!
omg!!! leave stephenie alone! she is trying her best to get out midnight sun but at this point she just cant do it! give it a rest… she has made all of these books and people are still not happy…if you are that obsessed that you would diss the author you obviosly need a mental facility and a straight jacket… stephenie: i still love your books and you are the awesomest!
After reading the 264 pages that Stephenie posted I can only hope and pray that she will look past what happened and continue the story and have Midnight Sun publised. I give her credit for one thing. The woman is not after money. Midnight Sun will sell millions of copies. I’m glad that is not the motivation behind her writing. But I hope that she will continue with MS and publish it to let her fans be able to a story she so much enjoys herself. She has every right never to publish MS and I will openly admit that I would be heartbroken if that happened. But all we can do now is support her the best we can and let her know no matter what we are devoted. AS for all the BD haters…take the time to reread it. I will admit I didn’t care for it the first time around but after reading it a second time I absolutley adore the book. If you let yourself sink into it you can really see so much more to the story than the first time around. And if you still don’t like it fine but there is no reason to dis it every chance you have. And if by some chance Stephenie would read this…Please Please Please continue Midnight Sun when you can!!! We love your stories and you!
after reading the draft online i was in aw… it puts everthing in a new perspective.Edward describes things that we all wondered about in all the book( what he was doing, thinking, what everone else was thinking, and what he did to change the dinamic of the smaller characters)Its upsetting to hear she is doing this, i was hoping for all the books to be in Edwards perspective, not just Midnight Sun and for the leech who leaked it should….you get my drift!!! I only pray she will finish and consider the rest of the series, it cant end not now!!!!
I agree with the first few posts.
I really think SM will get back to it once she feel a little better.
She just needs time to be with her family, and friends, time away from twilight.. then i really think she’ll give us Midnight Sun. ^^
Maybe not published, maybe just on her website or something. But that’s better than nothing.
I really hope all this confusion will resolve soon enough and that Stephenie will get the peace and space that she is much needed from all this messed that happened.
All the die-fans will always be supporting Stephenie and always be by her side in good or bad times.
We really hope that Stephenie will continue to working and finishing ‘Midnight Sun’ SOON! She love her character so much to dissapoint them especially Edward and she love her fans dearly to dissapoint them either.
For you Stephenie…We NEED ‘MIdnight Sun’
Amen Kim!!!! If people don’t like it, that’s fine. But, they don’t have to go on a bashing crusade and attach SM every chance they get. Its actually a very odd thing for people to do. If I don’t like something I let it be, I don’t return to it and I definitely don’t waste my time on it. People, are putting so much effort on this BD bashing, it drives me crazy! I think its time for all the BD heaters and BD lovers to move on. We have wasted enough time on this. Anyways, sorry for going on and on… I liked your post Kim, more people should be as open minded as you.
Stephenie didn’t say “I’m done with Midnight Sun” No she said “On Hold Indefinitely” I still think this is a little childish on her part. I can understand a break, but that choice of words for me wasn’t good. She should either say she won’t do it or have some type of time frame. I don’t like false hope. I’ve supported Stephenie since the beginning and I’m not stopping now, but I am slightly disappointed. I agree with most comments on the article, saw one on yahoo too yesterday. people should finish what they start or tie it off somehow. She shouldn’t feel the need to please us either. I just want a definite answer, so I can move on from this.
“Emotional”????? Makes us sound like lunatics that are PMSing.
Nikki you do have a good point SM never said she’s done with Midnight Sun. I still hope that she would get over her sadness about having her book released early, since she said she would “hold it indefinitely”. And indefinitely means not definite, unsure, Rebecca. Not “forever”.
And yes, no matter what book I pick up, not even Maximum Ride (my 2nd favorite seires) can replace my love for Twilight. I really hope she’ll publish it. Because I cleared out about 3 books and reserved that space for that particular book.
Kim, I like how you gave BD another chance, so to speak. I kind of liked it the first time I read it, and then I reread it, and now I can’t stop.
Just wanted to say “Hear, Hear” to comment #9 from Isabel.
I love all the Twilight saga books and I am so sad that others did not get Breaking Dawn I did! and to tell you the truth it was amazing I get her vision and it totally made sense to me I really really loved it!! I understand why Stephenie is holding back on Midnight Sun and I just want people to see how hard she has worked the sacrifice she has made for the fans the time she has spent away from her family she has worked so hard and she has given so much that I do not know why the fans who have always claimed to love her can not simply praise her and back off.
I will not read what she did not want us fans to see even if she did put it on her site I respect her wanting us to read it the way she did in the first place, I will be patient and wait I respect her to much.
I wish her the best she is in my prayers
Lisa
I haven’t read the MS leak. I figured why ruin it, SM will right it, its just a rough draft, and out of respect i never looked it up. I feel so horrible for SM, i feel so guilty. I loved breaking dawn for the most part, the only thing i didn’t like about it was that it seemed like it wasn’t written by the same author in some parts, but i have to say i did dis, and kinda sorta have this grudge on SM for a long time. I’m not going to get into why, but i just did. Now i feel bad for ever feeling that way cuz i know now that i don’t ever want to be one of the people who freaked out on SM, attacked her all the time, and made her feel really bad. Shes a mom and a wife, and even though I’m sure we are very important to her, but seriously we have been #1 on her priority list for along time now, how selfish of us to do these things to her. Please for the love of Twilight (ha ha) just leave her alone for awhile. Please im asking nicely
Em
This is what I had to say on this whole matter:
“I think those comments were very harsh and uncalled for..and those people call themselves twilight fans..they should be ashamed of themselves. Those people should have some respect for stephenie, she is very hurt that the chapters were released by someone she knew and trusted. I mean seriously, if something like this happened to you, wouldn’t you feel the same way? I believe that even if stephenie never continues Midnight Sun, she will be writing other stuff for her fans to enjoy, I support Stephenie Meyer 100% and I hope that things get better for her. STEPHENIE MEYER RULES!!!”
I can’t believe all of the childish negativity that is being hurled towards Stephenie Meyer! Putting the book on hold indefinetly is her choice to make and hers ALONE!! Yes, I’m totally bummed about the decision but it is what is and we need to respect that. I think that everyone has the right to whatever oponion they have on this matter, but to be so cruel and disrespectful to her is completely unacceptable!!! She is someone who clearly takes pride in the work she does and wants it to be at her absolute best before she feels it is ready to share with the world, and she doesn’t feel it is at that place yet. What is so wrong with that? Do we live in such an overindulged society that quality work and craftmanship doesn’t matter anymore? We need it now and thats that, so who cares if its not perfect or who gets stepped on along the way! We have all become way to greedy! Stephenie has stated many times that she gets very emotionally involved with her characters and in the stories that she is creating, so it seems only right to me that this is something she would be upset about (and has the right to be). I think these “bashers” need to realized that writing is not her entire life; she has a husband and three young children; she just got done with the Breaking Dawn release and tour; Just a few months ago she did The Host tour…not to mention other everyday things that happen in life that we have no idea about. Let the woman have a break and de-stress for crying out loud!We all have those days where we are tired and worn out and just want to throw the towel in for a while and regroup! Its part of life! So lets just let her have her moment to be human and be upset and hurt which is something she has every right to do! Its a cathardic process and no one should tell another person how to feel about something!
Another thing that bothers me about this whole situation is that people are taking this opportunity to bash Ms. Meyer about things that are COMPLETELY unrealated to the leak of Midnight Sun. Just because you may not agree with the reasons why someone if feeling hurt/sad/betrayed doesn’t mean you should kick that person while they are down. This behavior towards stephenie is disgusting and those of you who are doing it should be ashamed of yourselves and go and take a good long look in the mirror before you brutally attack the integrity of someone else!! Until you have been in her shoes, you have no place to be judging her for what she does or says.
I was always taught that compassion and kindness will get you a whole lot further in this world than brutality and anger! If there is any chance at all for the future of Midnight Sun it is not going to come from all of the greedy and rude people who are villifying stephenie for her choices on the matter.

A petition for REAL fans!
THIS IS A COMMENT FOR ALL YOU WHO THINK THAT PPL WHO DIDN’T LIKE BD OR WHO ARE MAD ABOUT MS ARE TWILIGHT AND SM HATERS:
First of all we all have our own opinion and you can’t say that the people who are upset with stephenie not continuing ms are TWILIGHT HATERS, they are just disappointed and they think she shouldn’t have given up so easily!
AND IF SOMEONE DIDN’T LIKE BREAKING DAWN THAT DOESN’T MEAN THEY’RE NOT REAL FANS, JUST BECAUSE STEPHENIE WROTE IT DOESN’T MEAN EVERYBODY HAS TO LIKE IT.
IF SOMEONE DOESN’T LIKE IT IT’S THEIR OPINION AND NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT TO CALL THEM HATERS JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T LIKE ONE BOOK.
SO PLEASE RESPECT OTHER PPLS OPINIONS AND FEELINGS!!!
Im not trying to be mean cause I luv u steph but I really think she was trying to find away to stop so she picked that reason. I not going to be all like that suck cause that is not reasecpt but Im disippinted that she won’t finish.
