The Wall Street Journal seemingly reads our blog comments (waves hello to the WSJ) they have an article on Midnight Sun. (Sorry about the weird link, it won’t let us direct link for some reason. If you copy and paste the URL into your browser, it should come up.) Found the problem, it’s something to do with newest version of my Firefox browser which for reasons unknown is throwing an attempt at javascript into everything.
According to an MTV broadcast last night, Kristen Stewart will appear on the MTV Music Video Awards on September 7. The program starts at 9:00/8:00 central (but check your local listings to be sure). Thanks to PrettyOdd14 for the heads up.
I’m sure we’ve all heard phrases like "fans devour Stephenie’s books" well it seems that one fan took that a bit literally. We’ve seen some grizzly bear cakes before, but this is the first book cake we’ve actually seen. Thanks to Christi for sharing.

Sandra:
Im sorry let me rephrase i meant to say that ka should not have said noone cares because that in m opinion is rude and not necessary. and youre right its her opinion.
I thought I posted this already, but I guess the staff at the Lex didn’t read my post.. But there was another cake actually, it’s the cake that was made for the Breaking Dawn release party, which was a very long time ago. It’s really cool, very pretty. Take a look.

Vampire-in-training:
That’s cool. I understand. I’m going to excuse Ka’s post since I assume she/he’s upset about the fact Midnight Sun’s been postponed. I’m not particuarly happy about it either and i’m one of those who doesn’t feel any sympathy for SM, but i’m not going to insult or be rude to those who do feel for her and are just as upset about the book. That’s wrong.
I’m sick of all the agressiveness lately with the fans. It feels that unless you liked Breaking Dawn you’re a hater and not a true fan.
Sandra:
I totally agree with you. I liked Breaking Dawn, and im tired of all the agressiveness. It just seems unneccessary. I also agree with you on the whole ka situation. I assume shes mad about Midnight Sun, as am i, but respect SM decision.
Thank you for understanding.
I think BD was terrible. And I’m not mad about Midnight Sun. I’m so glad most of the fandom hates the book.
All the Twilight Series have been on the Children’s Best-Seller’s List in Ireland too over the past few weeks. Go Twilight! I loved Breaking Dawn and I’m not going to read Midnight Sun until it’s published, even if that means never.
Woo hoo! Can’t wait to see Kristen on MTV. And aren’t Rob and Taylor gonna be there too? Oh and it’s VIDEO MUSIC awards. got it backwards lol. I dunno why MTV has always called is Video Music awards instead of Music video awards. funny.
btw: AWESOME CAKE! XD
ka:
youre wrong. , most of the fandom most certainly does not hate the book.
Ka:
Wrong. The majority of people do like the book. It’s just some of the people (some being the key word, I’m not saying everyone who didn’t like Breaking Dawn is a hater. If you didn’t like it that’s fine.) who didn’t like the book are definately the loudest most obnoxious and arrogant.
Right, that’s why it’s been rated 3 1/2 stars at Amazon.com. Most of the people clearly love the book.
ka:
Amazon is not the “majority of people.” The majority of people are the twilight fandom, the people at amazon are not fandom.
OMG< when I first looked at that pic, it thought it was the book, and not the cake!!! Lol!
Ka:
We respect your opinion, so just because we don’t hate it doesn’t mean that we are WRONG and you are RIGHT.
Ka: Since when has the Amazon reviews become the official stats for who like Breaking Dawn and who didn’t?
Many, many people who liked Breaking Dawn have stated that they are avoiding Amazon because of the extreme negativity of a few people there.
You failed to notice at the Barnes and Noble site the average rating is four and a half stars. Borders has a 4.315 stars rating.
I don’t understand your point; if you don’t like Breaking Dawn why are you here trying to start an arguement over it?
