Now if you consider the fact that most die hard fans get their books within the first week, the fact that the book is still doing this well three weeks later after a set release date, is pretty impressive.

These books are ADDICTING!!! I would tell my friends about them and as soon as I said vampires they rolled their eyes. When I finally got them to read Twilight they loved it and can’t wait for the movie to come out. This has to be my favorite series of books and Stephenie AWESOME!!!

I always hoped that they would do a peice going back in time like maybe when Edward was showing Bella the house fr the first time when he explains to her a little of Carliles story!!! I thought it would have benn cool if they did a scene going back in time as Edward told Bella his story!
AND i really hope that if they mke New Moon that when Carlile is bandaging Bella up from her disasterous fall down at her Birthday they sill do the same thing!exept this time when he is bandaging her up as he is telling Bellla Edward story (just like in the book)they could easily do a quick scen of Edward and his mother laying in the hospital on the verge of death from the spanish influenza and when Edwards mom beggs Carlile to save edward and when he takes Edward over the rooftops and to his home during the night! It could end as Carllile is maybe saying I’m sorry to Edward and leans down to Bite him!!!
I would love to see time pices here and ther in the movie! It would brings soo much more to it!

NUMBERS DON’T MATTER.
Just look at William Hung. He’s popular, because he’s a horrible singer. Just because he’s sold millions doesn’t mean his singing is good.
Sticking a bunch of numbers on the chart and saying, “Here, look, this is proof that this is a good book,” is silly and useless.

I completely agree with Beth above. BD sold millions of copies because of the hype built up, not necessarily because it was a fantastic book. That may be the case, but sale numbers and chart positions cannot be used as evidence of how amazing the book is.
I think that people alredy decided, The numbers help you see what people thinks, she does deserve it.
