Premiere Magazine has a new interview with Kristin Stewart.
The UK edition of the Times has a write up/review of the Twilight saga.
The public library in Pembroke, Massachusetts is holding a trivia contest on the Twilight Saga. The winner will receive a free copy of Breaking Dawn.
And lastly, Stephenie updated her MySpace blog with a few comments about the movie date being changed. This is reposted with permission.
Just a few things about the new release Nov. 21st release date for Twilight:1) I have no idea how this affects international release dates. I’m not exactly in the loop on those kinds of things. Hopefully that information will be available soon. I’ll see what I can find out…
2) I’m really, really sorry for any inconvenience the new schedule is causing people. I feel your pain. Let’s just say that my Thanksgiving plans are going through a major overhaul, too.
3) Looking on the bright side, this new release date means that Twilight will get to be on more screens–a lot more. That might mean a shorter drive for some people.
Stephenie

I loved the interview with KS!
Hey guys at the Lex! Stephenie updated her Myspace blog. Here is the link:

SECOND POST
By the way, Kristen is awesome!!!
http://www.boston.com/realestate/gallery/homeoftheweek/081708/
Does that have anything to do with twilight? It kinda resembles the house they used for the movie. Im probably wrong but the house is named Carlisle…coincidence?
I don’t Kristen
I don’t like Kristen, I mean.
Why don’t you like Kristen?
In my opinion, I think that Kristen is perfect as Bella. I think the whole cast is amazing and they look exactly the way I pictured them! I love them
<3
kristen as Bella…. I’m still not exactly sure. She seems like she’ll do a good job
I think other people have this as their names too. Now it’s gonna be… Team Twilight!
^^My new name
it pure awsomeness…
I’ll post again what I said over at HisGoldenEyes:
“Actually, I don’t understand why people don’t like her. I’m not trying to be mean, I just don’t… get it. Is it because she doesn’t giggle and smile enough? Because that’s exactly what I love about her. She doesn’t pretend, she doesn’t wear a mask, like most folks over at Hollywood do. She’s herself. A real person, not a celebrity product. She laughs when she feels like it and she isn’t nice just so everyone loves her. She’s a lot like Bella, if you ask me.”
Also, I don’t know how it’s possible that people disagree so much on Kristen’s acting skills. People either love it or hate it. Like Napolean Dynamite, you know? xD I must say, I’m on the ‘Love it’ team. My guess is that she has her very own unique acting style. She’s VERY natural, not dramatic or exaggerated at all, and that can be confused as ‘not being able to act’. But it’s all there. All the expressions and emotions. Right there in her face.
And yes, I AM aware I look like a very annoying little know-it-all, but I just wanted to get this out of my chest. And throw my opininon out there. Deal with it.
Love you, Kristen
(Jeez, that’s a long comment :S)
was the release date moved up to compete with harry potter and the half blood prince?
oh wait forget my last comment. the harry potter release is getting moved back…
^ maybe that’s why they moved the date up? no competition now?
sorry last comment i promise…i got too excited and didn’t read the previous blog post. ignore me. =S
I think it’s really sad that most book reviews focus on the “young teen desire and sex” and Jacob’s imprinting on a baby instead of taking into account the whole series and realizing that this is where the story had to go.
And, I waited three books for that sex to happen, so I think it’s fantastic.
Has anyone else noticed these interviews are all the same….nothing new. I have heard this interview before somewhere!
i’ve already seen this interview ! lol
I don’t know if you guys at the Lexicon saw,
but there was an article in the Sunday Travel section of the Chicago Tribune about how the Twilight Saga has really upped the tourism in Forks! Enjoy!

Molly i totally agree with you…..thats how the story had to go……and i wanted for the last book for the sex scenes
That’s really great… but I’m going to be out of town for Thanksgiving so I won’t be able to go to the premiere! That just totally sucks.
I just want to comment on SM Myspace update. Where she says:
“I’m really, really sorry for any inconvenience the new schedule is causing people.”
Never in my life have I encountered a person as humble as SM . What in the world is she doing apologizing?? She is such a nice and caring person. I wont mention names, but I can’t picture any other author doing that. SM is wonderful! that says so much about her character. Stephenie You Rock!
6. b/c she can’t act
My uncle and aunt live in Forks, and it is such a small town, but I think it is beautiful and can’t wait to go back. Thanks for the link Emily!
@#23 – I was just on my way here to say exactly the same thing. How poor Stephenie has found herself in a position that she feels she needs to apologise I’ll never know. This woman has created a wonderful little piece of escapism – one that I thoroughly enjoy reading again and again – and now is being put in a position that she is apologising to fans for things beyond her control. She’s been so wonderful in making herself available to the fandom and I find it apalling that this is how she is repaid – with nasty comments of inconvenience over a movie release date. People seriously need to get a grip and be thankful that we are getting a movie!!
@#17 – Agreed again Molly. The story was always headed in that direction and Stephenie gave me all that I was hoping for and more. I seriously believe that some of these reviewers have skipped over the first three novels completely.
i totally loved breaking dawn! whoever said this book was a disappointment couldn’t be more wrong. the sex scenes weren’t that gross. i mean i read stardust and it described ever-y-thing! now that was gross. and the birthing scene wasn’t that much different from a sea section.(that usually happens if they can’t get you to come out head first) the whole Jacob imprinting on a new born wasn’t that different from Quil. and it kinda made sense, like Jacob felt he couldn’t be away from her and really it was Renesme.
though my favorite part was the scene where they confronted the Voturi i also really liked the part where Bella almost attacked Jacob because he imprinted with her daughter then nicknamed her after the loch ness monster.
sorry it was so long but i couldn’t stand reading another downing comment about this book.
whaaat? did anyone else notice that kristen thought that bella’s red chevy was charlie’s? did they change that for the movie?
JGirl,
I agree with you. I loved Breaking Dawn and I’m so tired of these people saying bad things about it. I think it was done beautifully, she could’ve given us a bit more Honeymoon detail…LOL
but, considering we have teens reading the books, it was well done. I loved everything about the book and as a Mother I loved how towards the end (just like in real life) the focus wasn’t just on Bella and Edward but they had to also focus on their child. It was beautiful! I have read it twice and I loved it even more the second time around.
I can’t understand why some people don’t like it??? the only thing I can imagine is that their either very young kids that can’t relate with the whole getting married and having children and the gift that children are or maybe they are just… I don’t know???? I don’t want to get into it and offend anybody. Never mind. The point I was trying to make, I too love Breaking Dawn!
Thanks Carla, for posting that! I agree with you absoulutley and completely, and you saved me the trouble of writing my own coment voicing the same opinions, not that I would have minded much. Seriously, you would think people would stop all of this petty, immature cast negativity by now.
I loved BD as well and it’s really sad how all of this hate is splitting the fandom in two. Our fan base used to be so strong because we all pretty much got along. Differences of opinion were fine (Edward VS Jacob never ACTUALLY caused any real problems), but never have we had to deal with full fledged bashing of the author, and an entire book from our own members. We used to band together to defend Stephenie, but now a portion of us are defending her from the other portion who are attacking it.
how handy is it that the one week I choose to drive 4 hours to see family 20 minutes from Pembroke is the same week that a Twilight trivia contest is being held?
That interview is really old.
At least I heard of it somewhere else a long time ago.
And I totally agree with you bettingonalice357.
kristen is so cool!
thanks carla for voicing just how i feel…
I agree with several of you on your comments about BD and all of the hating going on. It is sad to see the split happen that was mentioned earlier. I had recieved an email from a friend who is friends with Seth (Stephenie’s brother) and they are saying that Stephenie is upset and reclusive and won’t talk to anyone because she is hurt by the negative backlash and upset people are trying to return her BD book. How sad is that??? It makes me want to go up to Stephenie and give her a hug and let her know that she still has fans that love her.
I just thought I would share that with everyone. Thanks for reading!
did anyone see the bbc’s news article about the release??
Jatsia,
I wish there was something we could do to let Stephenie know that the majority of her fans LOVED the book. I don’t know what? I just wish we could let her know, that we could let her know how much we loved the book and how much we love her??? You know?
Poor Stephenie! I was so afraid something like this would happen. I wish their was someway we could send her something, like a scrapbook type thing from a bunch of people each page saying why they love and support Breaking Dawn.
I want to do SOMETHING to show her how much we appreciate her!
If anyone has any ideas to do something e-mail me!
bettingonalice357@gmail.com
…Well, i’m not upset that the movie will interrupt my thanks-giving
.
p.s. Why are people still knockin the actors?! Gah, it’s a done deal and not everyone is gonna agree w/ the choices. So agree to disagree, but be supportive (:
I’m confused, why are people saying the movie will interfere with Thanksgiving plans? I thought Thanksgiving was on the 27th this year?
Oh, I so wish we could do something for Stephenie. Seriously, as a fedgling author myself, I know how badly just one published author of a teacher can break a writer’s fragile psyche. If anyone thinks of anything, seriously, please post it and let others join in. I would love to help Stephenie out! (Especially considering how AMAZING Breaking Dawn actually was … it was where the story was headed, and even if it wasn’t what YOU wanted … don’t backlash the author for her dreams and story!)
Ookay … sorry, I get a little heated sometimes … :~)
Hey everyone,
Isabel mentioned about wanting to help Stephenie and we are working on a plan. A friend of mine who put together a blog named Vampire Support Group (http://www.spousesofedwardcullenfans.blogspot.com) is going to help out as well. He is in the middle of reading Eclipse and he is loving the books. Anyway, I am also in the middle of putting a scrapbook together of the BD release party where I volunteered. I am planning on sending it to Stephenie and bettingonalice357 had mentioned making a scrapbook with people saying why they love and support Breaking Dawn. I think that is a great idea! I’m thinking of adding that to the scrapbook I am making. What do you think???
jatsia1@gmail.com
can someone please explain to me why the storyline in Breaking Dawn HAD to go that way? i found a lot of people saying that, and even SM herself…but no one’s ever said EXACTLY why the events in BD had to/was supposed to/destined to happen that way and not another? BD was ok…it just seems like a cop out explanation, IMO.
leigh,
Everything that happened in BD had to happen because it closed all of the loose ends and added closure to the story.
Haha! Heck yes! Boston represent! I have to say, I was so shocked to see little ole’ Pembroke, MA getting a spot on the hottest Twilight site ever! Hometown, baby!
if smeyer is hurt by the negative comments, then she shouldn’t write for the public. it’s called criticism, and if she’d ever taken a writing course, she would have experienced it.
@ bettingonalice357:
there are other ways to bring closure to the twilight series/tie up the loose ends…why did it HAVE to be that way and not another?
@laluna:
i 2nd your observation.
I liked Breaking Dawn. Eclipse is still my favorite, but I really liked BD. I agree that it was where the story was going, and I was really hoping to see more Volturi^^
I agree with the criticism, if it was toward the book. And it should be constructive criticism, not destructive. I don’t agree with people attacking Stephenie personally. If one does not like a book, write the opinnion about the book and move on.
I like Kristen, and that was a good interview. You can tell how hard she’s worked to really understand the story and the characters. Good job Stephenie stay positive haha.
