We are still in the process of rebuilding our own forums and will have news on that this weekend after we have more time to configure them. It’s too early to answer a lot of questions regarding the forums because we just haven’t had enough time to work with the new software yet and answer accurately. In the interim two forum members (Kit and Camber) have put up a site where you can contact Lexiconers that you may have lost touch with due to the forum being down.
Hi, Lexicon i was wondering is the film still to be released 12th december because i heard on the radio that HP will be moved till next year because of the writers strike…
i’m worried i wont be able to see the masterpiece come to life till summer next year! 
I was just wondering if anyone else is getting inappropriate google adds at the top of the page? before the hack they were never up there.
The ads that appear vary depending where you live. So the admins don’t always see potentially objectionable content. If you see an inappropriate one, please email us! Just right click on it and get the url and give us that info an we can block it. Back when the Host released we had a bunch of ads for a swingers site (we think it had to do with the words love triangle) and we then blocked those.

I was wondering if anyone else can’t sign into the forums its saying my name and password are wrong and then when I ask to send them to my email address it’s saying that my email address does not exist, is this just because the forums arn’t fully fixed yet ?
It’s still very much a work in progress. Because the admins that are computer savvy all have day jobs we haven’t had a lot of time to really do the set up. We all just got back from vacations so we came back to a ton of work at our real life jobs. Hang in there until this weeknd when we will be spending major time on it. We hope to have an accurate forums status message by Sunday.

Really – how come the half blood prince has been moved? not that i mind (i hate HP – but thats another story) because Twilight is coming out so much earlier so i can see it for my Birthday. just wondering though
Twilight came out the day before my b-day, so now i’m a little upset. I don’t really care that HP’s been postponed either.
This has got to be the most random thought ever, but if twilight is fiction, than other ficticous stuff could also exist right? So, if a human had a lightsaber, they might be able to kill a vampire with it b/c it cuts and burns at the same. Sorry, that was really random.

Bex and anyone else wondering about the moving back of HP 6 — i’ve been hearing it’s because Dan Radcliffe is performing Equus on Broadway around then … because of his role’s risque nature, Warner Brothers decided they’d rather wait till the Equus headlines died down before releasing HP.
So it’s pretty much distancing themselves from the role Dan has in the musical.
I’m not 100% sure about that, but I’ve been reading it in quite a few places.
Bummer, isn’t it … I was definitely looking forward to having two of my favorite books made into movies and coming out around the same time!
