According to the Associated Press, Breaking Dawn appears on several best seller lists. Each one has their own way for tracking books. Unlike the New York Times that has many categories, the Wall Street Journal and USA Today only have a few categories. We are still checking, but we believe Breaking Dawn would not be eligible for the New York Times list until next week, but we’ll update when we know for sure.

Congratulations to Stephanie and I must say that it is well deserved!!! Stephanie has given her fans a wonderful universe to get lost in and has finished her story and somehow has left us still wanting more because we love the characters so much. The characters are so throughly developed that they have become real and we have been able to feel and understand their emotions and motivations in what they do and where they go and we want to know what the future holds for them. My daughter,Ashley who is 19, bought TWILIGHT while we were on vacation in AZ on a Tuesday she finished it on Friday morning and then bought NEW MOON and ECLIPSE, I started TWILIGHT at that time, she finished ECLIPSE just in time for the release of BREAKING DAWN and finished in by the following Thursday. It took me a little longer, after all we were on vacation and I tried to do a few other things but honestly, the books are the only thing she or I remember. Breathtaking! We were lucky, we got to read it all straight through, I think I would have gone mad if I would have had to wait a year between releases. I have never been so captured by anything I have read before. FYI, I am 45 years old. Thank you for all of your efforts, I have ordered the HOST, although I must confess I am in such a TWILIGHT phase I am now reading fanfics. I hope Stephanie will write more of the Cullens Universe someday, be it Alice and Jasper or hopefully, Renessme and Jake.
i think breaking dawn was an AMZING BOOK!! it DOES DESERVE number 1!! hehehe twilight is STILL and amazing book!! ohh u knoe what?? THE ENTIRE SAGA WAS AMAZING!!

Stephenie deserves this she is the most talented author ever!!!!!!!! i think the host deserves a higher ranking than 23 because that book was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait for midnight sun!!! thats probably going to do better in sales than breaking dawn and thats saying something.
im not suprised at all we all knew she was going to do amazing. Im so happy for Stephenie. Breaking Dawn was incredible and thats and understatement! I hope she continues writing books involving Twilight characters, i just cant seem to get enough! Then again who can get enough of the Cullens.
