We know many of you are planning trips to Portland this summer to tour the many majestic Twilight filming sites. We wanted to be sure that you added the location of the Meadow Scene to your itinerary! The meadow scene was shot in Carver Park in Portland, Oregon. This was a closed set (this one is to be a suprise) so there are no filming pictures, but after producer Wyck Godfry’s description of shooting, its a must see on any Portland trip.
Carver Park lies approximately 45 mins southeast of Portland. If you zoom in on the map you will see its rich vegetation along side the Clackamass River. When you visit this area, be sure to stop by the Stone Cliff Inn for dinner and a beautiful view.
Carver, Oregon is best known for its excellent rock climbing. See some pictures of the surrounding area here.

I can’t believe how lucky I am to live in Portland. My aunt actually lives in Corbett just a few houses down from the Inn where they filmed the Prom!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I am sooooooooo excited!!! What suspense!!! I can’t WAIT for the meadow scene! Ah heck, I can’t wait for the entire movie.

Before the whole Twilight movie thing, I always thought that scenes like that were pretty normal since I’ve lived in the Portland area my whole life…but cameras can really make scenery beautiful =]
(by the way, you spelled Clackamas wrong…sorry sounding sorta mean, but spelling errors tend to get on my nerves ^^;;)
I’m so glad you guys posted where the meadow scene is because I’m actually leaving for Portland to visit family in a week, and they happen to live in a little community right outside called Carver

ya its not that pretty. i live across the street. well about a 1/4 mile down the road. its not that great….they were going to fim it at the golfcourse i work at. that wouldve been betteer.
I can’t believe they did so much of the filming in my home town! I heard they filmed a scene in the Stone Cliff Inn, which is crazy because I worked there for a year! Carver park is beautiful, I spend lots of time there every summer floating on inner tubes and swimming.
Actually, the meadow scene was shot on a golf course in Los Angeles. Watch the extras on the DVD and it tells you that they had to bring the trees, flowers, everything in.
