As much as I love the enthusiasm, the fact is that E-petitions just don’t work. One of the main reasons is that it is so easy to distort the numbers in a variety of ways. Marketing personnel and show coordinators literally disregard e-petitions. Here’s more information http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/petition/internet.asp. If you really want to make a difference, write a personal note to the show. Every show has a "show ideas" email. Take the time, talk from the heart, and be yourself. That’s what puts a personal face on the matter, and that’s what gets noticed.

Online petitions have worked before–they’ve helped save TV shows many times. Just ask the WB. Everything to promote Twilight should be applauded–as long as it’s in good taste and representation of the fans. Looking down on a petition and all 1500+ signers is unfair and… rude.
Hey I’m a bit confused. Which time magazine was she in on the last time? I looked because I really liked that interview and I wanted the actual copy, but I couldn’t find it.
