For those of you not familiar with Comic-Con, it started out almost 40 years ago as a comic book collectors convention. Today comic books is still a major part of the convention with the opportunity to meet industry giants like Eddie Campbell and Al Jaffee. On the other hand, it has branched out over the years to include sci-fi/fantasy writers and movies. People frequently attend in costumes that rival the dedication to characters at other conventions. In short, there may be other imitators, but there is no Comic-Con like THE Comic-Con. Movies like Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and PotC have all given special attention and footage to Comic-Con in the past.
In any event, it is too soon to confirm who exactly will be appearing at the Twilight Movie Comic-Con booth. As soon as we know, we’ll link. However, keep in mind that Comic-Con Special Guests frequently change due to filming schedule switches, signing tours, unexpected PR junkets and things like that, it’s just the nature of the business.

Oh MY GOSH!!! I bet my brother is going…he usually does cause his best friend has her own comic book and stand and stuff! AND my brother also just started his own Twilight art site that has lots of Twilight characters!!!

Oh Lord, this should be very interesting seeing cosplayers and Twilighters (Twi-hards!) meet.
Preemptive strike before I go to school, who wants to room together? Or if there are any Houston, TX people, want to fly together? Maybe we can get some TM’s to ‘chaperone’ us. (I’m 18 Sunday, and my parents will barely even let me out of the house, let alone San Diego alone).
I read about this a few days ago. I asked my parents last night if I could go, I told them it could be a graduation gift. They said, “Uh, no.” I have relatives that live in san diego too…*pouts*
Now I really wish I could go. My friend is. I’ll just have him stop by and get pictures and/or autographs for me.

Well, I live just 40 minutes north of San Diego and if I didn’t already have plans to be out of the state, I would definitely be at comic-con! However… where my daughters and I are going, will be so much better and I wouldn’t give it up if someone paid me to stay here and go to the comic-con! To all of you who plan to attend… have a great time!!!

i’m there?!…but i’m also wondering if anyone knows what day the booth will be there…or if there will be a presentation. …DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THERE IS 1 specific day they will be there? 4 days tix are EXPENSIVE! I’d rather save some money to buy breaking dawn!

Its more like a role playing convention where people meet and dress like anime/comic characters. However, it would be nice to see people dress up like Twilight characters. ^_^
Also, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have a Comic Con forum where people can talk about it and arrange to meet up or something to support Twilight or whatnot.

I go to Comic Con every summer!! it totally rocks! but I can’t find any info about Twilight on the ComicCon website… but I can’t wait for this summer!! ComicCon is already the most fun thing ever and now Twilight will be there too!! OME!!
Sorry to post again but usually you have to wait for the schedule to know what day they will be there. The panel will only be one day and most likely Fri. or Sat but usually a booth is there all four days.. However, unless they are signing autographs at the booth most likely there will only be “freebies” at the booth. But it will still be awesome! So just keep checking the Comic Con website for and updated schedule and get your tickets as soon as possible because they are almost sold out and you can only buy tickets online!
on which days exactly are the twilight cast going to be there??? I’ve been researching everywhere…is there a specific answer, or are they only coming to preview night??
