Kellan Lutz Joins the cast of Twilight

This day…has truly been amazing. So much news…though people are starting to ask why I can’t stop smiling..oh well. And yeah, he definitely would work for Emmett if he dyed his hair.

Im kind of disappointed that some of the guys are cast more attractively than Edward when Edward is meant to be divine.
When i look at the pictures of the cast, Edward just doesnt stand out when he is supposed to.
I think he may be Jasper in which case… reasonably nice casting.

I don’t know why people think he’s an Emmett because Emmett has a really good build, and…that guy doesn’t. I’d say he’s probably going to be Jasper.

Of course, this might be an echo already but I an theorizing he was cast as Emmet. Which, I might add, makes me pretty content- because the boy looks like an Emmet.
Even if he was cast as Jasper, I would say he fits the role of a vampire head-on. I’m excited to see who else was cast.
Hm, I never thought him to play Jasper or Tyler….I suppose he’ll work for any of them! And it may seem like Robert is a bad choice to some people, but this is a movie…they can make him look however they want. Just because there is a few bad pictures of him doesn’t mean it can’t be fixed! lol

If his hair was a tad longer, and a shade darker, I could totally see him as Emmett. XD
On the subject reguarding Robert being cast as Edward- I think he was a wise choice. Even though visually, everyone had a different concept of Edward I think Robert fits the sort of demeanor Edward has. And also, like Stephenie said, the boy looks like a vampire, there is no way around it.

If that’s who he is cast as lol. But yeah, I can’t imagine him as Jasper. Jasper is more slim, and Emmett is very built XD
This guy looks like an Emmett. That was my first thought at least. I hope he is! Google him…there are some shirtless photos of him, and he looks pretty athletic.

I think we can safely eliminate him being Jasper as he doesn’t even come close to the type being ask for in stand-in casting.
My money is on Emmett and I am in process of trying to verify this.
The other possibility is Tyler.
I think he’s a little young looking to play a teacher or Charlie’s pal on the police force.

It’s not really how I imagined Emmett, but I think that he’s Emmett… or maybe Tyler. But I bet it’s Emmett.
Definately Emmett. At least, that’s who he looks like to me. If he is Emmett – I LOVE HIM IN THE ROLE! But that’s still a huge IF.
P.S. still thinking Ashely Greene as Alice is the best character cast so far! tho if this guy’s Emmett, he’s really good

Also, i know this probably doesn’t go here, but i just want to say that i was against Robert as Edward, but i stared at his pic for awhile and i think he could be a good Edward. He is a good actor. I’m really satisified with all the other casting decisions that were made.
In my response to the earlier post saying Edward doesnt stand out… I dont think Robert is WRONG for Edward, but there is just something not quite right. yet.
Im sure it will all be fixed in the end.
