Summit Entertainment has now officially listed Twilight in its pre-production section. They also have a poster mock-up that is heavily based on the original book cover (this is not to say it is the final poster design.).

Note they may not be changing the plot too radically, sometimes they phrase a “good guys vs. bad guys” thing in overly simplified terms just to executive and others interested on a broad appeal basis.

It says U.S. release, does this mean they are only releasing it in the U.S.? If it does I think I will scream. Or just order it on the interent when it comes out on DVD. Yeah, I don’t really like the way it’s worded on the site though, it sounds a bit cheesy.
I reaaaalllly hope they remember Victoria, especially since she is such an important factor in New Moon and Eclipse, but other than that, i think they have the right idea…oh and Bella chose to leave her mother, was not sent away by her (it’s not all that important, but i’m a stickler for detail)

Yay! I would love if they used a variation of the original artwork. I don’t think they’ll use the actual image on the book. I mean, they’ll update it. I would rather it be a swanky movie version of the hands and the apple. I’d be mad if they changed it to something lame. This is good.
They’ll update it. They’re just in prepro, they probably don’t even have an art director or anything like that yet.

The only issue is that in the synopsis it says that Renee sent Bella to live with Charlie, but it really was her choice. I hope they don’t make renee out to be one of those mothers!

Anyway, I like the cover, but perhaps they can tweak it up a slight bit so it’s more original. But it’s still brilliant. =]
