The Eclipse Prom Update

Now what is a Prom without a prom favor? Stephenie had this to say on her website, and it’s way better than the typical cheesy prom beer mug.
The Eclipse Prom will officially be held on May 5, 2007. The time will be announced later, but it will probably in the afternoon. Also for sure: I’m going to be allowed to read the first chapter of Eclipse "
I’m editing this message to address a few comments some of you have said below. The Lexicon WILL NOT have a recording of any reading Stephenie does for this evevnt – or for any event. We will not have a copy of the chapter posted anywhere on the website. I’m sure Stephenie will post chapter one of Eclipse on her web site the same way she has posted other items in the past. You will have to install Adobe Reader to access the information. The reason being that this is copywrited material and she wants to prohibit unauthorized copies of text from being created.
I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MAD i live in florida and i am IN LOVE with the books and i don’t know if i can wait until Augest of next year to read Eclipse. I WANT TO GO SO BAD but i know there’s no chance at all so i’m not even going to try.

The Midnight Sun Prom (I hope there is gonna be one!) should be in Hawaii! Sun… sunny, palm trees, yay!
The Eclipse Prom sounds like major fun. It would be the best excuse ever I’d ever get to dress up! It would be so much fun if the Cullens showed up!

OMFG!!! Stepheine Meyer wrote like the shiznt of a book. Im in love with all the characters especially with EDWARD! Cam;t wait till Eclipse……… And i’ve heard ofa moive??? I have to go by myself! Alice will be in Italy and Mike is working at the airport, and all my other friends are under eighteen so they can’t go! THis will be the only Prom i will get to go to cause i missed junior prom due to a tonsilectomy and i missed senior prom due to a family emergency so i have a third chance for prom! This entire trip is a present to myself! christmas and my birthday! I just need to find someone to go with me!
I Just Want To Say This: I LOVE YOUR BOOK! At The Current Time However, I Am Almost Done, But I LOVE It. I Realized This When I Read The Back Of The Book, (I Realized 3 Things Were For Sure) And About 30 Or So Pages Into The Book. My E-Mail Is Not Working Right Now, So, When It Works, Or When I Get My Mom’s Permission To Use Hers, I Will Comment Again..This Sounds Weird, But For Your First book, I Love It With A Passion. I LIVE IN PHOENIX! For once living here pays off. The weather is nice but it attracts all the snowbirds and now the immigrants and people who only enjoy the weather are invading this place. But the reading will be held HERE and I can go! YES! No offense to those who can’t make it, its just that I LOVE the Twilight series and I’m lucky enough to go to this prom thingy! YEAH!
I am SOOOOOOOO going to the Eclipse prom and luckily I live like 30 minutes away so YIPPY!!!!! Living in Pheonix is so fabulous especially since Stephenie Meyer has signings like all the time. And sometimes when it’s a small group she’ll read a chapter from her rough draft of MIDNIGHT SUN!!!!!!!!!! It is so cool!!! I LOVE LIVING IN PHEONIX!!!!

when i was finished reading twilight and new moon i felt so empty inside,i was depressed just because i couldn’t read any more of the books because eclipse isn’t coming out until the fall**sob**and why does canada have to be so far away **so angry** will you PLEASE post the first chapter on your web site?it would make things so much easier

I absotively posolutely looooove Twilight!!!! The weird thing is that I’m going to move to a perpetually rainy place, where I visit every summer, like Bella, and I’m plain, like Bella. (my parents are not divorced, though) I may have blonde hair and blue eyes, but so what!!! I wish I met Edward-SIGH- I NEED to read the first chapter of Eclipse SOON or I am going to EXPLODE!!! OMG! You sound like a Bella, but I also look like her: I have straight, burnette colored hair, I’m slender, and I’m close to her height, I’m 5 foot 6 inches. Because I live in a place that has wonderfully sunny and tropical beaches (not even close to Forks), I’m unfortunately not super pale (due to the sun, I’m relatevely tan- that’s good for me, but bad for a part in a movie). But they can make tan people pale with air brushing or something, I hope, or maybe I’ll never walk in the sun again! LOL! But I cannot believe that Eclipse is comming out in such a LONG time! August 7th is such a long time. I’m DYING of anticipation! I at least hope that the 1st chapter of Eclipse is posted on Stephanie Meyer’s website VERY soon!
I think she’ll post the first chapter JUNE 1, cuz that’s when the New Moon first chapter was posted.
