First of all thank to Lexicon user Alice who posted a heads up that you can now pre-order Eclipse and The Prom Nights From Hell from Amazon Canadian. The Prom Nights From Hell currently only has Meg Cabbot’s name attached to it, but devoted Stephenie fans have known for months that Stephenie is one of the authors who wrote a story in this book coordinated by Meg Cabbot. I’m also slightly amused in that Amazon Canada thinks Stephenie has written another book called "Fascination". When you look carefully, it’s just the softcover edition of Twilight. (Edited: Stephenie has pointed out below that it is the French version..makes sense in Canada)
I’m sure the above will shortly be available from the USA version of that site. According to Stephenie (she updated her website today which will bring me to the next part momentarily), Eclispe will be available in August 2007. Keep in mind folks that we don’t have an official date and that this info might change slightly over the next few months. Suffice to say, when we know details, you’ll know details.
Stephenie has put up some new covers for non-USA versions of Twilgiht and New Moon. Does anyone else think it looks like Bella made a pitstop at the Tuesday Addams house of fashion on the UK covers?
Next, Stephenie added a new New Moon outtake (you need Adobe Acrobat to read the PDF file) from Rosalie’s point of view. For reasons that are utterly obvious when you read the preface I am deeply humbled, stunned, thrilled ( I’m running out of adjectives) that Twilight Fanfiction and Fanart was able to inspire Stephenie to write from an alternate point of view.
Lastly, it seems that Stephenie will be quite busy in the near future:
"… I’ll be mostly MIA for the next half year or so—I need to write a 600+ page book by June, while editing a 800+ page book by April. A mental breakdown is a definite possibility…"
I believe that the 600 page book is Breaking Dawn, the title for book four (still stunned that I suggested that title a couple of months back and it is now the title), and that the 800+ page book is her sci-fi novel The Host.
And last but not least, Stephenie updated her calendar. Aside from some local Arizona signings, and a prestation at her alma mater, BYU, Stephenie will be hosting an event in Phoenix called "The Eclipse Prom". If you are wondering what in the heck The Eclipse Prom is, I direct you to Stephenie’s MySpace.

“Fascination” is the French translation of Twilight. Makes sense that they would be selling it in Canada. You can get “Crepusculo” (the Spanish translation) on regular ol’ American Amazon now. Pretty cool.
I absolutely LOVED the Rosalie PoV from New Moon.. finally we got to see some of her mind as well…! and I’m so excited about the pre-ordering for Eclipse!! I’ll do that the second it comes up on Amazon USA…! Stephenie Meyer is just the best! =D

I borrowed Twilight from my English friend, so of course it had the English cover, and I hated the cover. Someone even saw me reading it at school and asked me if Bella was DEFORMED!! Wow, I got mad at that poor person, I should have taken it out on the publishers but…LOL
I really would like to know more about this Eclipse Prom. I followed the link you gave me, and the only mention of the prom was on her blog. Unfortunately, her blog is set to friends only. Do you think you could ask Stephenie for permission to copy the information, maybe? I’d just really like to know, but I don’t want to have to resort to getting a Myspace.
That, and, I’m really glad Eclipse is coming out earlier than I expected!
I am sooo happy that Stephenie finally updated her website! I hope she does find some time to update before the next six months, but of course, I think we all understand that her work is priority, and the faster she works, hopefully, the sooner the books come out!

I absolutely adored being in Rosalie’s head for a little bit; I have such the soft spot for her. It was truly delighftul, not to mention enlightening. I feel as if I’m only beginning to understand Miss Thang, and it’s all sorts of fun for the budding psychologist in me.

If you’re pretty good in French, you should read Fascination. Trying to be at the place of someone speaking english, you’ll maybe find some parts difficult to understand, but it’s a very interesting thing to see how the translation was made. And you will have something to read while waiting for Eclipse.

The Australian one will probably have the UK cover because Twilight is in the UK cover in Australia.

I know this is totally off topic but I really can’t help my self. Its regaurding the supposive movie of Twilight. Well. I have honestly been thinking very hard about who I think would pull off some of the characters in the movie. I’ve only come up with who should play Alice and Bella. This is only my opinion but when I thought about it they both screamed out the characters to me. I think Alice should be played by Kate Beckinsale. Kate Beckinsale with short hair would make an astonding Alice. It just screamed Alice’s name when I saw a picture of her. For Bella it was a little harder to think of the perfect person for her. Stephenies made a lot of qualities shine through in the books about Bella. So to find some who fit her discription would be hard but through a lot of thinking I came up with Emmy Rossum. To me she is everything Bella would be if she were to be protrayed by a actor. I don’t know why but I had to get that off my chest and let you know. Again its only my opinion. I hope you take this into consideration.
