Twilight Fanfiction and Fanart, the first by invitation only Twilight archive on the web, has moved. The site can now be found here, so update your bookmarks. All accounts should have transfered over.
Happy reading to all. The latest accepted authors/artists are in the process of posting their stories now.
For those of you whose books are falling apart because you have read them so many times, a solution is coming just in time for Christmas…The Twilight Collection.
Right now the Canadian publishers are the only ones listing the books, but American outfits like Amazon and Barnes and Nobel eventually will list it as well.
As was previously reported, Stephenie will be visiting Italy and then Spain again in May. We have some details on the Italy leg of her tour from "Cullen" AKA Valentina of the Italian version of the Lexicon called Twilighters.
"Here’s a brief translation of the content Stephenie will present New Moon at Palazzo dei Priori from 4pm to 6pm. We have organized an optional shuttle bus service from Roma and Milano (calling at Bologna). We’re asking of Twilighters fans to fill in a form and send it back to us at the following e-mail address: [email protected] so that we know how many people will attend and above all we’ll be able to update them via e-mail on news on the run. The fan club will gather in Piazza dei Priori at 3pm, we’ll have banners and t-shirts and pins (everybody will recognize us!) and we’ll run all together across the square calling Edward(as I did in the video)."
Here’s the video that is mentioned:
Our friends over at Crepusculo had a large Twilight party the other day. Here’s a description from Javier the owner of that site and "Edward Cullen" on the Lexicon.
"...last Saturday in Madrid were we organised a veryfunny game for the fans with a lot of mini-games in it like Tabú, Pictionary, reading lips, make scenes of the bookwithout talking, pass the apple, etc etc… And then I read the begining of "Being Jacob Black" in Spanish that Alfaguara( the Spanish publisher of Twilight) translated for us. If you want to see the photographs, here is the link.
We just opened a section for Eclipse Prom Tee Shirt over at our Cafe Press Shop. The fronts all say "Eclipse Prom 2007 Lexiconer" and the backs all say, "So, What’s Your Screen Name?" This section of our shop is a limited edition section. The Eclipse Prom Section will close on April 30th, so order early.
The shirts can be worn to before and after prom events so you can identify fellow Lexiconers. You never know who you’ll meet at the airport, you never know who’s going to be on your flight. They are NOT…I REPEAT NOT…TO BE WORN TO THE PROM. THE PROM IS FORMAL!
Another idea is to bring a laundry marker with you and get Lexiconers you meet at pre-prom and post prom events to sign your shirt. This is personally what I’ll be doing only I’m going to ask people to sign a Lexicon tote bag because I’m going to be carrying a bunch of stuff.

Various online sources such as Walmart and Harper Collins are reporting that The Prom Nights From Hell will be available April 10, 2007. Start looking in stores, you never know if it may pop up early.
Ok folks, straight from the mouth of Stephenie Meyer and Faith of the Changing Hands Bookstore (the supplier of the tickets) this is what you need to know:
1. If you were lucky enough to get tickets when they were available on April 1 and sold out ,those tickets are for the first time of 2:00pm-5:00pm.
2. If your name is on the waiting list, when the new block goes on sale on Wednesday April 4th (they open at 10:00am keep the times zones in mind they are in Arizona) you need to call 480 – 730 – 0205 or 480-730-1142 and state specifically that you were on the waiting list and what name was given on the waiting list. THEY ARE NOT CALLING YOU; YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM! DO NOT EMAIL THE STORE TRYING TO ORDER. The email is for questions that may arise.
3. The tickets may be picked up at the Changing Hands Bookstore anytime starting next week up until Friday, May 4th at 9:00pm when the store closes. You cannot pick up tickets the day of the prom from the store. If you do not pick your tickets up by May 4, you will have to get them from the "will call table" located outside the entrance doors of the prom (I will find out how early they will be out there and post that at a later time).
4. Tickets for the second prom (May 5th 6:00-9:00pm) go on sale tomorrow, April 4th when the store opens (they open at 10:00am keep the times zones in mind they are in Arizona). You need to call
5. You bought what you bought, Changing Hands is not doing ticket swaps. In other words, if you have tickets to the first prom and your friend has tickets to the second prom Changing Hands isn’t going to let you trade in your ticket so you and your friend can be together. It’s like a concert or Broadway show, what you bought is what you bought. Now, people are certainly on their own allowed to hook up and make private trades, and in order to help these people meet the Lexicon has posted a swap thread. As is posted, do so at your own risk.
6. Both proms are identical, there is no difference. No prom is better than the other.
7. Alphie and I do not have tickets DO NOT EMAIL US!
I think that about covers it all. If there is any new news, we’ll let you know.
Alphie and I heard from Stephenie regarding hotels for the event. As of now there is not a group hotel (meaning that no official contract has been signed with a chain to get a room block group deal, there may be some places that people are leaning toward staying, but no one has booked anything with a group rate deal). Stephenie’s suggestion is that people book a hotel on their own as May in Phoenix isn’t really a popular time, rooms should abound, and prices should be relatively cheap. Most of these hotels let you cancel your reservations on 24 hours notice with no penalty.
So, if the folks running the event come up with a group rate you should be able to cancel your initial reservation and get into a group deal.
Here’s a link via google maps. The Arizona State University (Tempe campus) where E-prom is being held is clearly marked and nearby hotels are pinpointed. We hope this helps. everyone.
