How do you contact Stephenie?

We seem to be getting the question of how to contact Stephenie a lot lately, so I thought I’d be helpful and put her contact address here:

Stephenie Meyer
C/O Little, Brown and Company
237 Park Avenue
New York, NY 10017

This is her address at her publisher where they issue the following disclaimer: "Please understand that it is up to the discretion of the individual author as to whether or not a correspondence will be answered."

Stephenie also has a MySpace account. You can leave a message there. Just as is the case at Little Brown, there’s no guarantee that she will be able to answer it, but you can certainly leave a message there.

Stephenie had the following appear on her website:

Another thing about which I have received many, many emails is writing to Stephenie Meyer. As you can probably understand, Stephenie is extremely busy right now. For this reason, she is currently not accepting emails. We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Just as a reminder you can’t contact Stephenie through any of the admins or mods on this site or via the webmaster on Stephenie’s site.  We get over 100 emails a week asking us to pass something along to Stephenie, asking us for Stephenie’s phone number, asking us for Stephenie’s address, asking us to get Stephenie to come to a certain location, asking us to ask Stephenie to read a manuscript, etc.

We’ve become somewhat used to the emails by now as we are running a fansite; however, please leave innocent bystanders alone. This brings me to my next point. Stephenie graduated from BYU over 10 years ago. She has no contact email at BYU. The students at BYU with similar names, would really appreciate it if people would stop emailing them assuming they are Stephenie.  They need their inboxes clutter free so they can contact their professors!

Chapter One of Eclipse and Movie News

The first chapter of Eclipse is available to download (you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.) from Stephenie’s website.

Also, Stephenie has posted some fantastic information about the Twilight movie. The company that now has the rights, has done films such as the Oscar nominated Babel. Here is a list of the projects that they have been associated with.

Let the rejoicing begin.

Happy belated birthday eri!

One of our fabulous mods had her birthday the other day. She has been with us since practically day one! Eri is the patient soul who helps people with banner and avatar problems and other things technical. So Feliz Cumpleaños a Eri!

Good Morning America

A lot of people have been asking what station covers Good Morning America. It’s ABC which in New York is channel 7, but that will vary throughout the country. The studios for this show are located in New York City in Times Square and they do have an opportunity to be members of the studio audience.  It’s pot luck as to whether you get tickets or not, but basically you have nothing to lose by trying.  I just entered my name, if I get lucky, I’ll be in the studio and not outside.

International Versions of the Lexicon

The sites below are the international sites that have asked and been given permission to translate Lexicon material into their own language. We just added the Czech Republic site yesterday, and we understand a Norweigen site is in the works. All of our affiliates can be found in the links section.

Feel free to put any of teh lovely banners made by Ambereyes in your siggies to celebrate for the day, and stop by this thread.

Thanks everyone!  And I’m the same age as Stephenie… if you know what that is.  Stephenie is just a few months older than me.

Tour schedule updates

The signing sites have refined their times and procedures a bit since the dates were first posted. Check out Stephenie’s calendar page for some specifics, and call the locations to see if any tickets or reservations are necessary.

Below is a copy of an email I just got from Changing Hands Bookstore, this is the bookstore that was the co-sponsor of E-Prom. They have now confirmed their signing site and procedures. Please note that if you can’t make it to a specific signing, Changing Hands is more than happy to ship you a signed copy. On a personal note, they are an awesome independent bookstore, and if I lived in Arizona I’d be dropping some serious disposable cash there.

Changing Hands Bookstore presents Stephenie Meyer discussing and signing Eclipse at the Marcos de Niza High School auditorium.

Copy of Eclipse + admission ticket = $22 ($23.48 with tax)
Book vouchers for Eclipse will be given out until August 7, 2007

Happy birthday Edward!

Happy Father’s Day

Now I know we can probably count our male members on two hands, our married male members one one, and those that have children…I am possibly down to two people. Nonetheless, Happy Father’s Day to all our fans out there!

In Twilight fiction we all love and not so love at different times the resident dads of Carlisle, Charlie, and Billy . Regardless, dad’s often try to do their best and no one is perfect. So, go give your dad a hug, without him you wouldn’t be here.
