Stephenie’s site has been updated with Breaking Dawn news.  The first chapter will be available in the Special Edition of Eclipse and it  seems that EW.com will have a sneak peak on Friday.   Check out Stephenie’s site for all the details.

We are aware that the Eclipse Special Edition has been released early in some places; however it is not to be discussed on these boards until the official release date, May 31st.  Anyone posting information to do with the cover art or first chapter will be banned, no exceptions, we are  a spoiler free site.  We wish to respect the publisher and author and will not have any discussion until all fans have a chance to purchase the book including photos and text.  Please remember it is illegal to post verbatim text or scans from the Special Edition, as it is in violation of copyright law.  Thank you for  your understanding in this matter.

Bellaandedward.com is reporting that according to UK publishers the Breaking Dawn Release will be held off until August 4th.  Due to some conflicting reports we will have more information on this shortly.

We would like to take this time to reitterate that nothing has changed since we reported on International Release Dates for the Movie.  We will let you know as soon as there are finalized dates.  But again.  It is too early for that type of inforamtion to be finalized.

Would Stephenie write The Host outtakes?  "Yes, she might write one covering Mel and Jared reuniting after Wanda is removed"
 
How does she feel about the movie? "Amazingly talented actors and Catherine Hardwicke is a genius."
 
What is in her writing future? " She’s going to do her tour with Breaking Dawn and then in 2009 she is taking a year off. She’ll still write but she’s not sure what yet. She needs a break. She not sure if she’ll write sequels to the Host. She has it outlined as a trilogy. She has the prologue and epilogue written of the second and third books, but she is not decided yet.  As for her Twilight characters Breaking Dawn is definitely the end of Bella’s story arc and the last book Bella will narrate. She may however revisit the Twilight Universe in the future, just not right away.

So check back in for more updates.  Alphie is attending a second signing today and she is armed with video cameras to capture all the exciting action.

Stephenie was on Good Things Utah yesterday.  She talks about the movie, Twilight, and future books.  There is an article as well as a video on the right hand side. 

"Is this truly the final book?" asked Good Things Utah host, Nicea DeGering.  To which Meyer answered, "It is the final book from Bella’s perspective."

Hollywood Backlot would like to know your response to the exclusive Twilight pictures they debuted today.  Please comment HERE so that we may send them your comments all together.

The LA Times has launched Hollywood Backlots and is featuring Twilgiht pictures.  The photos were taken by David Strick and they are amazing.  They also have an archive of several articles they have done on Twilight.  So check out the pics and articles.

And before everyone commments, yes these photos were up breifly yesterday but were offically launched today. 

The LA Times was wonderful enough to give the fans High Resolution images for every picture.  Please remember that these images are an exclusive, but that being said, take them and make banners and avies, load them on your desk top, but please if you are another fan site, link to the LA Times and don’t put them in your gallery. 

Hollywood Backlot has posted 24 new pictures from the set.   Edward, Bella and the infamous tree scene!  The pictures show both candid and intense shots as well as some of the amazing wire work that was done.  These are not to be missed.

EDIT- It seems that the link isn’t working a the moment.  The Backlot Homepage still shows a picture but the date has changed from 5-14 to 5-15. So perhaps they will be back up tomorrow.
