Chaske Spencer is leading an initiative to encourage greater voter participation among Native peoples.
Chaske Spencer, Native American actor most known for his role in the Twilight movie saga, is a supporter of the 2012 Native Vote – http://www.NativeVote.org – a national non-partisan campaign of the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI), focused on registering voters, getting out the vote, and protecting the right to vote in Native American communities. With close to a million unregistered voters, NCAI is making an effort to turn out the largest Native vote in history.
