So, are you wondering if it is worth it to go to a Twilight convention? Well, we met Ronda and her fabulous friends last weekend in Chicago, she’s a recent Twilight addict. She blogged about her convention experience here.

E! is certainly hinting at something big in the works. According to E!:

“I promise you, there will be a presence,” Laurence Mark, a first-time producer of this year’s Academy Awards, “You’ll see. I promise there is and on more than one occasion.”

It’s probably one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood that various dress designers were soliciting Twilight stars to wear their dresses in a costume segment. So given that and the above quote what do you think is up the Oscar organizers’ sleeves?

The Hillywood Show has just posted their Twilight parody and it rocks (as if there was ever any doubt!).  This is the group that started out spoofing Pirates of the Caribbean and then branched out into everything else imaginable. They are know for their attention to detail and high quaility vids. They are up there with Nigahiga. This is one NOT to be missed. According to Hillywood:

Anna Lynn McCord talks about her Heidi hopes to Extra. Look for an announcement coming soon. Usually they don’t speak so openly about these things unless it’s practically a done deal. It’s considered back karma otherwise. Anna’s got a new project coming out this month called Fired Up so if you want to see her in action check her out in it or in 90210.

Canada.com Here’s the audition experience of one New Moon hopeful who has made it on to the next round. It’s really impressive that he made it that far given the number of people that came to cattle call. In case you are wondering what a cattle call audition is, this article explains it pretty well. It is very typical at a cattle call for them to cut off lines early and not see everyone who lines up, it’s nothing personal, it’s the way the business runs.

Also, if we could be kind of whiny and nit picky for a moment the word is “cast” not “casted”.  If someone is talking about “not getting casted after trying out” in New Moon, what they really want to say is they “read for the part and were not cast”. So if you are sending us a news tip that supposedly quotes seasoned actors saying “I wasn’t casted”, we’re not running the article because it makes us wonder about credibility.

Ashley Greene waved hi to the Just Jared folks the other evening. Just Jared was the media outlet who did their homework and followed up on the Vanessa Hudgens rumor debunking it, though it took a couple of days for the rest of the media to catch on.

As we scrolled down and read the rest of the article the words looked familiar, really familiar, and then the video looked familiar too. Anyone want to lay bets on Just Jared putting up our formal Ashely Q & A sessions when we run them this weekend?

MTV has added Robert Pattinson to their list of Hollywood’s hottest who are dateless this Valentine’s Day. Despite recent news reports that everyone from Paris Hilton to Frances Bean Cobain would kill to be his date, apparently he’s dateless…or at least he has enough common sense to keep whoever she is under wraps!
