I’ve noticed that several of you have been wondering exactly when New Moon will be in your bookstore. To be honest with you…I can’t give you a perfect answer, but I can tell you what I know and hope that your mind will be put at ease.
New Moon, unlike Harry Potter, does not have one official release date nation wide. It was set to be in stores in October, but that date has slowly worked its way up to August. The last date I heard was sometime around the 18th, but who knows. I looked around in a few book stores today and didn’t see it yet, but it’s my guess that any time now you just might find it on a shelf in your local store. Stephenie made mention in a phone call that several stores will have one of those really cool cut out stands announcing it’s release. They have these for Harry Potter and other big releases, and they usually sit right in the front of the store where everyone can see them when they walk in. So keep your eyes open for the stands! That’s all we know at this point in time. When you see the book in your local area, feel free to leave me a heads up so I can alert the masses where they can buy it.
