What advice Would Rob and Kristen Give to Their Younger Twilight Selves?

Total Film has a series of interviews with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. One of the most interesting questions was what advice would you give to your younger self?

What advice would you give to your younger self on the first day of Twilight?
Robert Pattinson: On literally the first take of the first scene, I had to run over and pick up Kristen. And I almost tore my arse-cheek muscle, my glute, because I crouched down wrong. So I’d say: ‘Don’t squat down so low’.

What advice would you give to your younger self on the first day of filming Twilight?
Kristen Stewart:
I would say: ‘Stick to your guns on not smiling in Twilight. Angst is much better than bubbles, because it really works and everyone is about to be proved wrong.’ All the scenes were so serious. They’re dealing with really heavy stuff. [The filmmakers] were like, ‘Maybe you can lighten things up? And I’m like, ‘No you can’t take that away. ‘That’s what people are addicted to- the rawness. Also, I would say: ‘Things wind up OK for you in five years. You’re pretty happy so just chill out. Relax, Kristen.’

Check Out His Golden Eyes

No, we don’t mean the very popular Twilight site, even though they are really great people (*waves hi to Kimmy and crew*). We are talking about the UK marketing campaign to get people to buy the Twilight DVD…as if they needed encouragement!

I think we can safely say that the “real Cullen” version doesn’t come with the not so subtle hint at what to buy.

UK Twilight News

It seems that UK actor, Jamie Campbell Bower, is going to be pretty busy in franchise movies. In fact he’s definitely taking a turn for darker characters after having recently played the hero in Sweeney Todd. It seems that Jamie, according to The Daily Mail, is in negotiations to play the part of Grindlewald in the final two Harry Potter movies. As any Harry Potter fan knows, next to Voldemort, Grindlewald was the most terrifying wizard out there.

Also on tap for UK fans this week is the midnight release of the DVD! the Forbidden Planet store in London sounds like it’s the place to be featuring:

“You can take the forbidden romance of Bella and Edward home early when you come down to the London Megastore to pick up your copy of TWILIGHT on DVD or Blu-Ray. Plus we’ve got goodies and give-aways – and loads of gorgeously dark merchandise just waiting for you to treat yourself… or that forbidden lover of your own! EXCLUSIVE! First 30 purchasers of the Special Edition will receive a DVD sleeve signed by one or more of the cast.

See the Twilight UK site for details.

In case you don’t really want an autograph, but want a bite (no we are not making this up) you can get your DVD bitten over a HMV. We’re a little unclear if it’s an electronic molding of Robert Pattinson’s teeth, or not. If interested talk to the people at HMV.
