Hillywood Teams Up With Peter Facinelli

The Hillywood Show has worked closely with Peter Facinelli over the past three years at the Official Twilight Tours. Now they are teaming up officially. According to their press release:

Hilly and Hannah Hindi are back at it! The sisters behind the Hillywood Show® – a YouTube program dedicated to pop-culture skits and spoofs of big-time blockbusters and Hollywood’s hottest celebrities – have just released their latest: The Hunger Games Parody.

The parody, which was co-produced with YouTube’s music discovery channel myISH and Facinelli Films (the film production company of Peter Facinelli) plays homage to The Hunger Games – the beloved-book- series-turned-major-Hollywood-film. Caesar, the Hunger Games’ flamboyant, blue-haired host (played by Hilly), evokes the Capitol citizens’ obsession with appearance. Singing and dancing along to entertainer Jimmy James’ song Fashionista, Caesar and the tributes (including Hannah as Katniss Everdeen) “show a look, have a look, or give a look.” You can also catch a sneak peek into the making of the video on myISH.

MTV’s Hollywood Crush blog says, “The sisters pull off a fun preview of their talents for viewers unfamiliar with their other videos.” Have you seen the Hunger Games Parody yet?

Past Hillywood® parodies include a Lady Gaga-friendly version of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which has been viewed more than 2.5 million times on YouTube, and a hilarious Harry Potter spoof to the tune of Rebecca Black’s song Friday – with a whopping 3.4 million YouTube views. And their Halloween parody on Lady Gaga – Gagaween – has been seen and approved by Lady Gaga herself!

Hillywood Show and Charity Fund Raiser Added to Stephenie Meyer Day

HillywoodIn celebration of all things Twilight and Stephenie Meyer, the city of Forks is getting ready for the fifth annual Stephenie Meyer day.  This year we’ve learned that the Hannah and Hilly of the Hillywood show will be on hand and that there will also be a charity fund raiser to help fight lung cancer.

They will also join designer John Henson, owner of The Twilight Costume Collection, for photo opportunities and discussions about costuming. In addition to their other work, the Hindi sisters will screen their immensely popular TWILIGHT, NEW MOON and ECLIPSE parodies.

“We are honored to be included in Stephenie Meyer Day. Without Stephenie Meyer and Twilight, The Hillywood Show® wouldn’t be where it is today,” said Hilly Hindi, co-creator of The Hillywood Show®. “Forks is truly a magical place, and The Hillywood Show® will never pass on an opportunity to visit it over and over again!”

Additionally, a young Twilight fan named Abby Wilson, who recently traveled to Forks as a wish, is attempting to raise money for her lung cancer organization, Free to Breathe. At only 13 years of age, she has terminal lung cancer and recently began began chemotherapy. Forks Coven Alice met Abby during her trip to Forks and will be donating 20% of whatever she makes at Stephenie Meyer Day 2011 to Abby’s cause. Hillywood Parodies Harry Potter

We thought we’d go a little off topic here. We’ve been supporters of The Hillywood Show for awhile. In between hosting the Creation Entertainment Official Twilight Conventions and their next Twilight parody, the girls have done a new Potter parody on what it’s like waiting for the next Harry Potter move to come out.
