Twilight Wins at Spike’s Scream Awards

The annual Scream Awards were taped at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles over the weekend. They are scheduled to air on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 27 from 10:00 P.M. ET/PT. (Warning all links this article lead to results spoilers.)

Taylor Lautner was on hand to pick up some of Twilight’s awards, and to present a clip.

Initially there was a lot of talk about never seen before movie footage being revealed; however, going by the Tweets of Robsten Lovers who were there on the red carpet and in the actual awards show nothing new as far as actual movie footage was revealed. On the other hand, there were new behind the scenes type clips with carious cast members speaking.

Taylor Lautner to Present at Scream

Taylor Lautner, according to Just Jared is going to represent The Twilight Saga: New Moon at the Scream awards. Taylor will be unveiling a clip, but no word on what the clip will be, or if it is significantly different than the material that we have already seen.

Twilight is nominated in multiple categories. The show tapes this weekend and will air on Spike TV later in the month. Make sure you vote for Twilight, because the Scream motto is “vote and vote often”!

Twilight is up for the annual Scream Awards held by Spike TV. Now before you think it’s all horror, they actually have things divided into three categories: Horror, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy. Depending on the category, Twilight is competing against everything from the cartoon Up to Harry Potter.

Here’s the rundown of the categories:

Best Fantasy Actor: Robert Pattinson

Best Fantasy Actress: Kristen Stewart

Best Fantasy Movie: Twilight

Best Supporting Actress: Ashley Greene (Every category is lumped in here.)

Breakout Actor: Robert Pattinson

Ensemble Cast: Twilight

Best Song: Decode by Paramore

Best Villain: Cam Gigandet (And he’s not up against Heath Ledger this time.)

Ultimate Scream: Twilight (Believe it or not Star Trek and Up are also in this category, go figure.)

Best Fantasy Movie: Twilight
