For some reason this was only just put up even though Sundance was almost a month ago. Julia Jones spoke of really looking forward to the project Winter in the Blood after filming Breaking Dawn.

Looks like Chaske is going back to the vampire side. One of Chaske’s first acting gigs in New York City was as the lead in Dracula. There are also a bunch of great stills over on The Black Pack
Chaske Spencer was at Sundance to promote his film Winter’s Blood.

Sadly the panel (at least with Freddie) didn’t last too long.
Chaske Spencer is the roommate of Adam Morse the bassist from the band Five O’ Clock Heroes. He’s frequently talked about the Brooklyn-based group on the official Twilight tour. Now he’s in their video for the song Rough Boys. In an interview the band had this to say about the song and their relative anonymity in the USA:
“IRR: Is there a song on the new album that will hook us? Why would it do that?
Five O’Clock Heroes: “Rough boys”. new single. good chorus. nice verse. nice build to the pre-chorus. hahaha. i guess we always strive to make melodic songs. songs with chorus’s. i like a strong chorus. i grew up listening to bands who deliver strong and direct chorus’s.
IRR: You guys are an American band, so why haven’t you ever released an album in the States?
Five O’Clock Heroes: We couldn’t get a deal here. but we had friends who took us on tour in the UK. so we put some credit cards together, paid for it and toured with them, luckily we met a few people along the way who were kind enough to release our albums in the UK and Europe….”

Shouting Secrets starring Gil Birmingham and Chaske Spencer just released its trailer. At TwiTour in Orlando, Chaske said that they will be bringing the film out on the festival circuit so look for it at places like Southwest, Tribecca, and Toronto. They won’t have it at Sundance because it was still being edited at the submission deadline.

Who: Chaske Spencer – - Actor and activist Chaske Spencer was born of the Lakota Sioux tribe, and raised on Indian Reservations in Montana and Idaho. He is best known for his role as ‘Sam Uley,’ the alpha male leader of the werewolves, in the popular THE TWILIGHT SAGA film series.
