We’ve been looking over the past week and found what we thought was some of overlooked video featuring our Twilight dads.
Video: Billy Burke Talks About Comedy and Kristen
I think all fans of the saga can agree that Billy Burke has taken the character of Charlie to a whole different level and made him a fan favorite! Without spoiling too much, the wedding toasts belong to him and Anna Kendrick. He talks about that with E! as well as his feelings about Kristen Stewart.
Billy Burke Video Debut Polyanna Rose
Last year Billy Burke branched out into recording his first CD, Removed. Billy was no stranger to music having performed in various bands during the early segments of his career. He has just released the latest video of one of his tracks entitled Polyanna Rose (which happens to be the name of his wife).
Here’ sis the first video he did of the title track.
Next Movie: Who is the Best Twilight Dad
The Male Twihard blogger over at Next Movie just did a piece on which Twilight character makes the best dad.
“I am not a father, nor do I even pretend to know how to be a good one. (It involves owning a briefcase and knowing how to throw a baseball back and forth, I believe?)
However, I do know “The Twilight Saga.” So with Father’s Day coming up this weekend, I’m paying tribute to the dads from the series.
But who is the best “Twilight” dad? (Besides all of them?) Allow me to lay out the facts.
Charlie Swan, Carlisle Cullen, Billy Black and (future screen daddy) Edward Cullen are the men under the microscope. While everyone has their own ideas on what makes the best father, I’ve done some in-depth research (thanks, Ask Jeeves!) and these are the qualities most will agree on:
They should be of high integrity, but never high on other things. They should be able to provide for their kids, meaning they need some cash money — Benjamins, if you will. And a father needs to be responsible, offer guidance, and spend quality time with children. These are proven techniques that keep daughters (and sons) off the stripper pole.”
His analysis is tongue-in-cheek and hilarious. Check it out.

Elizabeth Reaser and Peter Facinelli expanded on the discomfort to Access Hollywood. Looks like the Pacific Northwest weather went four-for-for and zapped every production.
““I wish that I could say it was this magical beautiful day, but we had a lot of rain and it was kind of muddy and there [were] tarps all over,” Peter Facinelli, who plays Robert Pattinson’s on screen father, Dr. Carlisle Cullen, said.
“Literally, there was a couple of extras where water just poured down and dumped on top of them,” Peter told Shaun. “So, it was kind of a nightmare shooting it, but [the set] was so beautifully dressed and I know that you’ll never see any of that behind the scenes stuff and it will look beautiful.”
Elizabeth Reaser – RPattz’s onscreen mom Esme – told Shaun the nuptials felt otherworldly.
“Very beautiful, it’s supposed to be a dream wedding. They spent months and months and months putting this thing together. It’s everything you’d want when getting married,” she explained, acknowledging the harsh weather.
“It was raining and freezing and everybody was uncomfortable, but when we were rolling, it was the most beautiful moment,” she continued.”

Billy Burke Talks About the End of Twilight Saga
Twilightish has a great interview with Billy Burke about his feelings on working with the Twilight Saga over the years.
“Twilightish: How does it feel to see the end of the Twilight Saga? Are you happy to move on?
Billy: It’s weird you know? Cause it’s kinda like being on a television show for the last three years. It was a steady gig for me you know? I can’t say that I’m heart broken about it but it was a good gig for me. I’m a little on the fence about how I feel. I think that it has run its course, and we as artists and audiences have gotten everything we can possibly get out of it. Always happy to be moving on. I have no idea what is next for me.
Twilightish: Do you wish for more movies?
Billy: No, no I don’t wish for more Twilight movies. Anything beyond this would be pushing cartoon level.
Twilightish: When you look back on Twilight, would you do it all over again or pass?
Billy: Of Course! Absolutely! Actually, I enjoyed playing Charlie. I liked him!”
