Ashley Greene Talks Apparition and Breaking Dawn 2

Ashley Greene has a couple of new projects in the works. One is the ghost story, Apparition, co-starring another mega-franchise veteran Tom Felton

MTV News: Did you have to do any stunts?

Greene: The stunts on this were much different then something like “Twilight.” No wires, but lots of scenes requiring agility. I think I injured myself more on this film because of the intensity of the scenes. You get wrapped up and don’t realize how hard you’re pounding your hand or that you’ve hurt your ankle until the end of the scene.

MTV News: Is there CGI work involved with the spirit?

Greene: Yes, there is amazing CGI work in the film. I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say the visuals are very compelling. Also, it’s important to note that this film is a supernatural thriller that really keeps you guessing. The fear is built through suspense and fear of the unknown, rather than the blood or gore of a horror film.

MTV News: What scene are you most excited to see in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2”?

Greene: I’m excited to see the final battle scene with the Volturi. Everything has worked up to that big moment. It’s action-packed, and I don’t think the fans will be disappointed!

Ashley Greene Cast in “Americana”

Ashley Green is taking her fashion training one step further and stepping into a role as a fashion designer opposite Anthony LaPaglia in an ABC pilot called “Americana.”

[The story] centers on iconic fashion designer Robert Soulter (Anthony LaPaglia), the patriarch of a sprawling family who just welcomed a new member, Alice Clarke (Greene), a young designer whose shocking arrival turns the family and the legendary label inside out.

Kellen Lutz Heading to Punk’d

Back before she was famous for Twilight, Ashley Greene actually appeared in an episode of Punk’d as one of the background accomplices in an episode where Justin Long gets Punk’d Now it looks like Kellan Lutz will be in the driver’s seat for an episode. According to Hypable:

During MTV’s New Year’s Eve telecast, it was announced that the previously-reported Punk’d reincarnation would replace former host Ashton Kutcher with a new host each week. Among the first announced are Twilight’s Kellan Lutz, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus.

For those of you unfamiliar with the show, the basic idea is that celebrities prank (AKA Punk) their friends with the help of several accomplices and and hidden cameras. Think of it like a Candid Camera only it’s on cable so the themes can be a little bit more risque.  Hypable has the video preview of the first episode.

Here is the episode Ashley was on, it’s not the best video. No word get on who Kellan punks.

Ashley Greene Loved Breaking Dawn Stunt Work

Who can forget Alice battling the CGI wolves! Looks like Ashley Greene enjoyed the experience according to an interview in Company Magazine.

On the difficulty of making it in Hollywood:
“It has always been hard, but it is now very competitive. It’s hard to break out, and it is still hard for me – I am fighting for my next job. Nothing is set in stone. So you have to really love acting to go through that grind every day. But once you get a role, it’s worth it.”

On her dream role:
“A couple of projects have caught my eye. I want to do another action film because I had a ton of fun when we did stunt work [on Breaking Dawn]. We did fight training and personal training – we worked our butts off and pretty much did every stunt we possibly could ourselves.”
