The rumors have been circulating and today we have confirmation: Breaking Dawn Part 2 will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray on Saturday March 2. Included will be an audio commentary provided by Bill Condon. There will also be a seven part behind the scenes documentary with even more new footage and interviews. Will the DVD be the only version to have the extended scenes or will it be available on bluray also?
I’m a bit confused. The Yahoo! article makes no mention of an extended edition of Part 2 nor does it mention bonus footage added into the movie. it doesn’t even list extended/deleted scenes as special features.
You are so very right! The yahoo page includes the link to the Extended Part 1 DVD and I thought it said part 2. BIG mistake from me! There is no extended version of part 2. I’m so sorry!

Seriously? So they are going to withhold the deleted scenes again and then re-release it later? So frustrating. =( I do understand it’s a business and it’s another way for them to keep making money on the franchise…but they’ve generally been so good to fans and put out AWESOME extras. Unless those scenes aren’t ready, it just doesn’t make sense to exclude them. It wasn’t done with any of the other movies. (Wonder if this is the difference between Lionsgate and Summit…)

What? 40 dollars?!!…whatever!! I can’t wait to watch it again forever! Sort of disappointed there is no extended/deleted scenes, or audio commentary… I can’t wait to see what the different stores have to offer!
I feel like I’m watching the trailer for the first time all over agian. It’s been a while since my trips to the theater, so I got so excited when I saw this again!
I can’t wait to buy it.
